Redirecting after submitting my online SBI card details. The bank has processed my railway charges as known my message from the bank on my mobile phone. However the Railways never booked the ticket after hours of waiting online during the processing of request. They have charged me on my card full ticket charges. My ticket was from Agra Cant to H Nizamudin Station by taj express 6:55 pm.

OVER LIMIT CHARGE - INDIAN RAILWAY CATERING DELHI

WHILE I BOOKED TICKETS THROUGH IRCTC, ONE OF THE TRANSACTION DID NOT MATERIALISED DUE TO THEIR COMMUNICATION NETWORK FAILURE, BUT MY CARD ACCOUNT WAS DEBITED ON THAT TRANSACTION. THE IRCTC LATER INFORMED ME THRO' THEIR MAIL AND ASKED ME TO BOOK THE TICKET WHICH WAS DEBITED TO MY ACCOUNT. OVERALL
THE TOTAL TRANSACTION - EXCEPT THE ONE WRONGLY DEBITED BY IRCTC WERE WELL WITHIN MY CREDIT LIMIT.

If the amount was Debited from your Account, We shall be making the refund back to your account shortly and it will start reflecting in your bank statement in 3 to 4 working days.

The refund of Rs. <1083.00> for the transaction tried by you under reference no.0045400579 which has failed and later found that the payment has been debited to your credit card account has been credited to your credit card account at 04/14/2008 11:38:02 AM.
We suggest you to please retry the transaction, if not booked already. The booked tickets history can be checked to view the list of all tickets booked by you.

SINCE THE MISTAKE HAPPENED DUE TO COMMUNICATION FAILURE WITH THE IRCTC AND MY TOTAL TRANSACTION ON THE
TICKET BOOKING INVOLVED ONLYRs.3610.84 AND AM NOT USED THE CARD BEYOND THE CREDIT LIMIT, THE OVERLIMIT CHARGE OF Rs.500/ CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD SHOULD BE REFUNDED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT. SINCE I HAVE TO ICICI CARD - ONE BIG BAZAAR CARD AND ANOTHER REGULAR CARD, APART FROM OTHER BANKS' CARDS, THERE IS NO NEED FOR ME TO USE YR CARD CROSSING THE LIMIT AND AS SUCH, THE CHARGE LEVIED WHICH WAS NOT FAULT OF MINE MAY BE REFUNDED WITHOUT ANY FURTHER CORRESPONDENCE.
