had purchased a flatscreen television on the 28th of October, 2007.

I have recently noticed that there is some discoloration happening. I have lodged a complaint (Complaint ID - S8C[protected] with the customer care center on the 21st of March, 2008. This complaint was to be attended to on the 22nd of March, 2008.

Since then, almost everyday I have been in contact with the customer care executives. Everyday it is the same story that I get to hear from them. All they say is that the service center representative will be sent over to my place the next day. I am almost nearing the completion of making a directory of the cellphone numbers of all the service center representatives with all the numbers given to me by the customer care. But as my luck would have it, not a single call, of all the many repeated calls that I have made to those numbers, has been answered. I am sure it is easier to talk to God, himself. Another common dialogue that I get from the customer case is that the service center had made a call to my cellphone and that I did not answer it. Moreover, every customer care representative that I speak to, asks me to call back and ask for them if the complaint is not attended to the next day. But strangely, when I call the next day asking for them, I am politely informed that there was never anybody with that name at the customer care center.

I am still waiting for the complaint to be attended to.

LG Electronics — Shelves disintegrated

My LG refrigerator with French Doors and freezer as bottom drawer was purchased in 2008. Within 1 year of purchase the shelves in the refrigerator began getting hairline cracks throught all of the shelving entrior. With normal wear and tear, the refrigerator has only two shelves left. All shelving with sliding drawers attached cracked and fell apart. My complaints to LG began 1 year after the refrigerator was installed and they have not offered one bit of help to resolve this matter, insisting I should have bought a warranty. I have to disagree in this instance because the shelving was made out of substandard materials that were defective. I purchased this refrigerator from Home Depot and their hands were tied in respect to this matter because of LG. I think the interior shelves should have all been replaced at the very least.

I have purchased a LG refrigerator in NOV 2008 .its giving water since i had purchased. all stuff gets fermented inside it. because of it gives variable refrigerating effect up side an downside.in freezer its always gets frozen.we can not able to shut the freezer door. and in lower racks in freezer are not getting proper refrigeration.and because of accumulation of water stuff in lower rack gets fermented. i have complained local dealers "n" times. first they did not respond but after giving threat of consumer forum they responded.but they could not rectify the problem.and i have paid money so many times for it. i have left my belief in LG products.please give proper assistance to your customer . only advertisement is not fair enough to sell your product.i got frustated because of dealers so please give proper weightage to my complaint.

LG Electronics — Defective microwave

Hi,

My name is Nupur Mittal. On 27 July 2010, I had bought a LG microwave, model no.2049UW ADRQE12 from Croma, R.City Mall, Ghatkopar, Mumbai. On opening the box, I found that the wheel on which the plate rotates inside the oven is broken. I immediately called up customer care to get the part replaced.

Today is 31 July 2010, even after complaining repetitively, my complaints on customer care have gone unattended. I am unable to use the microwave.

Please look into the matter asap.
I am highly disappointed with the after sales services and want the microwave replaced or my money back.

LG Electronics — Defective microwave clubbed with pathetic service

Hello All,
I am Anubhav.
In May 2010, I bought an LG microwave.
Till date I am unable to use it.
Reason being that the circuits of the microwave has been faulty.
Initially when we switched on the microwave then the MCV used to trip and the electricity of the whole flat would go off.
I thought that MCV is not taking the load so, I went ahead and replaced it.
Still the problem persisted.

FInally, I registered a complaint with LG service center as on 14th August.
Request ID no: C[protected].
Firstly, they made a false promise that someone will attend you within 24 hrs.
nly by repeated calling that they come day after.
The service engineer opened the microwave and confirmed there is an issue with the circuit and will come and change it the next day.
He did not come back.
Apparently, some other service engineer from LG had come to my premisis for resolving issues and thought to visit me as well.
Like the previous service engineer, he also opened up the microwave and did something.
He mentioned that the fault still exists but he has repaired it temporarily.
This further needs fixing. I have also requested him to express my distrust in the appliance and for sure demands a replacement since its under warranty and that I am yet to cook my ifrst dish in 3-4 months.
Since I was to go out of town, I had mentoined him to come back on 25th August.
I called him on his mobile and he would not respomd.
I had to finally rasie a customer complain again with LG.

Its 29th Auguts as of today and I am still awaiting response.

We donot trust the Microwave which has created electrical hevocs in our flat in the past and demand an apology and replacement of the microwave.

LG — NEW LCD TV BROKE DOWN

I had brought a 47 Inches LCD TV from LG on 3rd. May 2010.
I have been facing problems from the beggining.
Installation took long
Remote given to be was old and battery leadked one.
Finally on 6th. August 2010, my TV broke down.
I have complained to all concerned nearly 10 times.
I have even spoken to their executives
I am told that they are not able to replace the TV with a brand new one because I brought from a specific dealer.
How can a company like LG sell defective peiece.
This TV is under warranty, so they agreed to repair the same.
They also took the LCD one week back saying they would get back to me in 2 days.

Nothing has happened till now.

I am fed up and fustrated.

All the LG executives are avoiding my calls and are not responding to any my calls and Email complaints.

LG Electronics — Bad service from LG

I have bought 2 LG Split AC on 23-Jan-2010 (invoice number – LGl - 145) from LG Shoppe (Khosla Electronics Pvt. Ltd.) at kolkata. Some weeks after it is installed, I have faced some problem in one of the AC. The issue is that water is splitting inside the room instead of splitting it outside. I have made one complaint (Dated 14-Apr-2010 number [protected]) when the service engineer visited and confirmed that there is no such problem. After some time I have faced the same issue and once again lodge a complaint (Dated 03-Jun-2010 number [protected]) when the service engineer visited and said that it is due to the filters are made of dust. He cleaned that and working properly. After some time once I have faced the water splitting problem and made another complaint (Dated 03-Aug-2010 number [protected]). The service engineer visited and said that it is happening due to installation problem and to resolve the set is supposed to be installed once again with my cost (Rs 1000). Then I talked to LG Shoppe and they lodge another complaint on behalf of my. On the very next day one person called me informed that to resolve the problem the AC supposed to be installed once again. They told that this was not installed by the server centre engineer where he is working. It may be installed by another server centre engineer. I do not have any botheration as long as I know that it is installed from LG whoever is the the server center. I have also found that the room is not cooling as per expectation. It is not yet one year passed I have bought the AC and now in guarantee period. So I do not know what will happen after the completion of the guarantee period. I want to have a solution of my mentioned problem. So I am requesting you to take necessary action so as to resolve the mentioned issue as early as possible.
