[Resolved]  Reliance Big Tv — Bad support after sale

I have purchased Reliance BIG TV before a month.After purchasing I was told that installation would happen in 48 hours.
But it does not happened in that duration.After that I have called their customer support and regiesterd complaint. During complaint registraion I have been told that in next 2 hours their technical support team will conatct me and will do installation.
But technical team contacted me on next day and done installation.
Really a bad support system.No fullfillment of Commitments.

I have purchased one Reliance Big TV on[protected] from Sony showroom Kanjirappally, Kerala. But nobody came and installed it till now,[protected].30pm. We have given the full payment on the time of purchase itself.
Interesting thing is that the showroom people saying that they are not supposed to install it. Nearest dealer of Big tv, Electro tech Mundakkayam saying that they are not responsible and we have to tell Sony showroom and they are not getting the profit etc. Today, we went Electro tech's office @ 35th mile, mundakkayam. They behaved very badly and used bad words and they said that they are not going to install it. Is this customer support...?????

Reliance Big TV — very very bad relay and bad customer service

i complained for interuption in relay even during a very scanty rainfall whereas all other providers services were working and are interupted only in heavy rains, i did complain for this problem but the customer care service replied CHANGE TO SOME OTHER OPERATOR. KALPESH R MEHTA

Reliance Big TV — very bad service after sale

This is to inform you that my big tv ID[protected] has been using since one year, since one week your service has been cut off, there could be some technical problum, i have complaint to your customer care service, you beleve me or not no one has been taken action against my complaint every day i am reminding to them, every day thay says we will do it today since one week your day is not coming yet, therefor, i request you to take necessary action againt them those who are sitting there in custome care service, and do the needful as soon as possable for us.

i have purchased reliance bigtv smart card no.[protected] .I called up reliance bigtv customer care to report that my some of the channels arent working which were working earlier so, the executive who was talking from the other side gave me instructions regarding the problem.However the instructions given by him increased my problem because they were some channels which were working earlier, but now, due to his instructions these channels were also not working now.My complaint no is[protected] .the customer care agent are not at all supportive, they hang up on me twice.This kind of attitude is not expected from reliance.

Your Big T.V. Service department is not giving satisfaction service in Gujarat State, Anand District, Petlad Taluka, on 13th instant at @10.00 p.m. my T.V. lost signals, so I seek help of your service department who advised me to wait for 12 hours and to make complain on next day. So I registered complain on 14th at 11.15 a.m. But problem was not solved, so reminded again on 15th at 6.30 p.m. But your department cancelled old complain No.[protected] as if it is solved, But not any service engineer call and coming for lost of signal problem and noted new complain by giving new complain No.[protected] Thus they avoid us, and create proof as if they solve complain in less than 48 hours, But actually it is not so.
Hence I earnestly request your kind honour to recruit service staff, if existing staff is unable to solve the problems, otherwise name and fame of reliance will be spoiled.

Reliance Big TV — Unjustified charges for replacing faulty remote

I had purshased Reliance BIG TV almost two years back. I was happy with the service and have even recommended BIG TV to couple of my friends. However, one fine day (August 18, 2010), the remote stopped working. On contacting customer care, I was told that I will be charged Rs 200/- as replacement charges for the remoate since warrantee period for the remote is only one year. I had no issues with this and happily paid Rs 200. However, during replacement BIG TV doesn't give new remote. Instead they give some recycled remotes (can make out from the look itself). This was confirmed by the guy who replaced the remote as well.

The remote that was given to me on August 18, 2010, againt stopped working on October 14, 2010. When I contacted the customer care, they told me that warrantee period for replaced remote is 2 months and anyway the remote stopped working within 2 months, I will not be charged again. Remote was replaced again on Oct 14, 2010 in the same fashion.
The remote that was given to me on Oct 14, 2010, stopped working again on Oct 21, 2010. When I called up customer care, I came to know that they had charged me 200 rupees for the replacement that was done on Oct 14 (through the IVR message). I logged complaint for the replacement on Oct 21, 2010. The remote was replaced on the same day and thankfully no charges were applied for the last replacement.

Today, when I called up BIGTV CSR for reversing the charges for Oct 14 replacement, they started giving me vague reasons. I spoke to floor manager as well and he also started repeating the same things. Floor manager said that he will take the matter to concerned department but refused to log complaint for it.

I am really fed-up with Reliance group as such since my experience with Reliance Money also wasn't good. I agree with others that Reliance group has no integrity and are truely called "CHOR" by most of the consumers.

Hai, I am Vasudevan having Bigtv Connection for the past 3 years.At the initial stage service was good.

Now customer service is very bad.

My smart card no is.[protected].

I have registered a technical compliant on 1st Nov10 for poor signal quality, not able to see any channel.

I have been given a complian no as.[protected], saying that the service person will attend the issue within 48 hours.But on 3rd by 5.30pm i am getting a sms as my service request closed, without attending to the problem.Again on 3rd i have registered one more compliant to attend to the problem.

But nobody has come till today.I spoke to customer service supervisor also, but no use.
"now nothing can be done and we cant do anything"

Reliance Big TV service is very bad in Karnataka. I have shifted my house from Gulbarga district of Karnataka state to Bellary City and I have also shifted big TV from my native place to Bellary and I requested for installation of my BIG TV at Bellary through phone and at that time one of Customer Executive of Reliance Big TV informed to recharge Rs.350/- thereafter they will install it immediately within 48 hours. Hence I recharged my BIG TV smart card No.[protected] for Rs.500/- on[protected] and called to customer care and they booked my complaint and given complaint No.[protected] and informed that their local engineer will come within 48 hours and set right the matter but till today on[protected] they have not come and installed it and even they are cutting Rs.6/- per day from my account it is illegal and injustice it will cause mental harassment to the customers. Daily 10 times I am calling to customer care and they are falsely assuring that their engineer will come within two hours and set right the matter. I am very much unhappy with the attitude of this Reliance Big TV and asked to cancel my complaint and refund the amount recharged, but they are doing nothing and causing mental harassment to me. Therefore after two days I am intending to file complaint before the Dist. Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum, Bellary against Reliance Big TV. Please help anybody for fighting against BIG TV, my phone no.[protected]
6 REASONS TO LOVE BIG TV

I bought BIG TV a year back. I could not watch TV during monsoon season because I am a subscriber of BIG TV. I can't see my favorite programs on TV because I am a subscriber of BIG TV. I saved BIG TV customer care No. on my mobile because I have to use the number every fortnightly. BIG TV customers executives are the most competent executives I have ever seen in my lifetime because they take only 5-6 days to resolve an issue. I am not telling lie you can try on this no. [protected]. [special thanks to Mr. Salim Shaikh] if you have BIG TV connection. So, if you don't have BIG TV at home rush to a nearby outlet otherwise will will miss this opportunity.

tHE INSTALLATION of big tv is very late from the time we requested.
And any deler or any staff of big tv does not replyiny or they are not ready to respond to any of our query.....and no one is ready to give the contact of the manager.............All of them are talking as if they only are the manager of the reliance big tv and of the company as a whole.........I m very unsatisfied and very upset in regard of the service of big tv.........My smart card id is:[protected].
