[Resolved]  Samsung / Split Ac — Poor customer service & pathetic performance of device

I have a Split AC from Samsung bought on Date 18th Jan 2008. I have been facing numerous issues with the AC. It seems that there is no one to take care of issues faced by the customer. No customer care at all. I am so fed up of the service that I feel like throwing the AC out of the home.



Please find below the number of instances that have happened:-



The cooling was poor and the engineer came and resolved the issue in the month of April-08.
There was an issue again of poor cooling and a part was faulty that was replaced by the Engineer.(June-08)
In the month of July there was again the issue of water falling from the AC inside the house.
In the month of April 2009, the issue of poor cooling was reported, and the engineer updated that the compressor is faulty.
Thank God that the warranty for the Compressor is 5 years, the compressor was changed and I was charged 1800 rupees for filling the Gas along with the Service Charge of 400. (May 09)
Now for some days the water was falling intermittently inside the house from the AC and today morning I got to know that the PCB is faulty and it will be replaced @1800 rupees.


Now I have lost all faith in the Samsung products. I have TV (29 inches), Washing Machine and Fridge from Samsung but I promise you that I so not want to use any further products from Samsung. The company does not even care for their consumers and neither you provide any AMC

samsung/split ac — Highly dissatisfied with Samsung products

I am highly dissatisfied with the Samsung products. They claim that they are the number one in home applainces and but the products as well as the service is pathetic.
I bought a 1.5 ton samsung split ac in April 2007 and since then i have been cursing myself for the decision i have made. When i bought the ac, it worked fine for a few days and then all of a sudden it stopped cooling. I placed a complaint in Samsung, the technician came and said the there was a gas leakage in the ac. he fixed it. Again after some days the same problem occured again the technician refilled the gas. twice in the first year itself. I really wonder if they sell new products pr just recycle the old ones. Anyways the next year the same problem occured. Fisrt time the technician came and replaced the cylinder but the second time this happened(within one month), the technician did not shoe w up at all. I was pregnant at that time and even though I had bought an ac by shelling out 27000/=, i had to bear the heat. I cannot even begin to recount the discomfort it caused to me and my family. This time again there is the same problem. I called up Samsung customer service, asked them to send a technician urgently but to no avail. Its been a week since i made the complain but no technicians have showed up as yet. It is damn frustrating as I see my baby sweat and cry because of the heat. I cannot bear it anymore as it is causing discomfort to my child this time.
I want some action to be taken against these guys for selling sub standard, cheap stuff to the consumers at high prices and also not delivering what they promised.
I feel that it would have been better if I had bought a hand held fan instead, at least it would have given me one satisfaction that I did not spend 27k on it.
I completely agree to the above complaint. I too feel like its my hard earned money gone down the drain.

samsung/split ac — Bad installation

I have purchased 1.5 ton split AC . Installtion is so bad that AC can fall any time infact it fall down twise in front of installtion engineer. I called there local person ( Mr Shelendra on 4230946) . I was assured that some body will come. Further on contacting LOTUS I was adviced to call at SAMSUNG helpline 30308282 where I have spoken to Rohit he has asked me to contact LOTUS again.
These people are just plaing ping pong I advice not to buy any samsung product.
