[Resolved]  Sony Ericsson — Service and repairs

I had got the Joy stick of my Sony-Ericsson K750i repaired from a Sony-Ericsson service center in Gurgaon, but after 2 days of that the phone display went white, and when I took the phone back to the service center the manager refused to handle the phone he said that the phone may have got damaged due to the software getting corrupted or some problem in the main board of the phone, how ever he confirmed that the Cap of the Joystick was not fixed properly. The cold response from the the Store manager made me write to the Sony-Ericsson customer service mail id, how ever I did not get any response from them.

i bought the s302i set on 22nd jan.there is problem with the messaging part. it is functioning very slow and gets hanged very often specially during opening sms's. what should i do?

am joney arora writing this mail from ludhiana. am your old customer using your cell phones from last 7 years.

few days back i purchase a new set that is S302 from ludhiana. but by some tecnical reason this handset had dead on 20th of feb then i submit this set on local service centre on 22nd of feb under the complaint id SES09BMS10652. and they committed me to retrun this set in a week, but today is 14th of march and i don't rece it as of now. and again and again when i visited the service centre they commit me that it will give you in next 2 days. and today they told me that the parts of this set is not available. and we will give you the same set in next 5 days.

So Dear Team tell me one thing if the parts of this set is not available then why ur Co. made these kind of sets, and right now am facing this problem with this modal what is the gurranty that in future this problem will not be happened with me.

Dear Team if the parts of these set is not available then i dont want to take this set. So i request you to kindly make my credit note against this set or make other note for me for the same amount so that i can purchase another set of sony ericssion. reply me ASAP becasue am already harrashed by your service Centre.

Dear Ms.Shalini Sharma,

I purchased a SE Phone Model W380i bearing IMEI No.[protected] for my daughter on 20.01.2009 from SUBHAM vide bill No.9310, dt.20.01.2009 and was facing network problem with it continuously. When I made a complaint with SUBHAM, I got the phone replaced with the same model bearing different IMEI No.[protected]. Even though the same problem continues which is intolerable.

So, I request you to either change the model and replace or return the cash paid by us. I have tried to hand over the phone but they did not accept.

Me bought my sony ericsson k550i at abt 5 moths later .After at about 2 months my earphone had got

damaged. i went to the sony ericsson nearest service senter on the date of 22.11.2008 and they assured

me that it will take at about 1 weak for repair but i can't get my earphone till now and its already 95 days

period has been covered.And every time they are saying that there is no stock of mobile accessories and i

I bought SE k750i in november 2007 and after 6 months the camera shutter problem started, I paid 450rs and repaired it in august 2008 for the first time and the problem has occured again, when i tried to contact one of the worst service center in mysore so called "ACCEL FRONTLINE LIMITED * 515/A, 1st Floor, P&T Block, Anikethana Main Road, Kuvempu Nagar

I am happy with the SE brand but these worse service centers are forcing me not to go for the SE brand next time.

Mobile Defective and Bad Service from the sony erricson service centre

I would like to inform you of my dissatisfaction with the Sony Ericssion P1i mobile phone and the service provided.Since I have bought this phone, it has been working well, until recently it stopped functioning normally. I returned the phone to your customer service(Trident United Products Private Limited Bangalore, Koramangala) on 20th January. The customer service representative informed me that the phone mother-board has to be replaced and they would make the phone ready in 10 days.

1 Month later, the phone is still not working.I received my phone with the motherboard replaced on Feb 18, Within 2days i had to revisit the service center as the phone started hanging frequently.
The manager promised me that he will replace it. But now they tell they haven't committed any thing like that

On each occasion they have kept the phone and apparently worked on it with no luck. Their attempts to resolve the problem have not been satisfactory and they finally claim that there is nothing more they can do to help me.Even the customer care department[protected] wasn't able help me and solve the problem.

And now they claim that they need 4 more working days to give back my cell. They need 2 months to solve a simple problem.And trust me guys they are meant to make false promises please don't trust them.

Sony Ericsson / Mobile Store — Issue with Mobile Store and Sony Ericsson

I have purchased a mobile phone (Model R3O6) from The Mobile Store ( Banaswadi/Bangalore) dated 10.03.09.
Next day i discovered that incomming calls cannot be heard and person at the the other end could not hear what I speak

I thought that problem could be with Signal.But this continued and finally I took the set back to the Mobile store.They asked me to take this set to the nearest SONY ERRICSON Service center -"Durga Communication"

Problem what I faced with THE MOBILE STORE are as follows -
1).They did not have a demo model
2).They showed us the features through Net.
3).They didn't take any resposibility for the replacement or getting this repaired.

On 18th Mar I took this Phone set to the Service Center.They asked me to get this mobile back on 20th March.Even they have promised to replace this set incase if they find any component damaged.At the time of the delivery I found the problem still existing.Again after checking they concluded that the problem was with the mike and the same has to be replaced.On requesting for the complete replacement of the set, they said it wont be possible.I called up the Customer care SONY ERICSSON immediatly and filed a case. They said it will take another 48 hrs to decide whether replacement could be done or not...

Now being a customer where do I stand.After investing so much of money / time what kind of assistance did I get from these companies.What step these companies have actioned for the pain I am going through.

Now out of this frustration- i could only educate my friends / relatives never to Purcase any product from The Mobile Store as well Sony Ericcson.
Hi bought Samsung Phone from Chennai . Within a month usage i found my joystick of phone not responding . I took phone to samsung AUTHORISED SERVICE CENTRE but they told they will send the phone to Banglore and it will atleast 40 days to repair it .They told they will not replace . They r not even provinding spare mobile .

Whats the difference between company mobiles and those korean and china mobiles which r in grey market unless they provide proper quality products and proper service

Sony Ericsson — Not working

This is mallika from bangalore, india .I have purchased a w580i in the month of April08.This was the first Sony erricson mobile i purchased becuase i was using NOKIA for about 8 yrs before that.I felt sony erricson is a good company and i liked the features of the handset also.Last month onwards i started facing problems in the hand set as the screen display was diminishing.On 10th march i gave the form to Sony erricson service centre in Jayanagar 4th block bangalore(JOB code:1672).2 days later they have given the phone back and charged me INR.2200 stating the display had gone.(My mobile is under warranty and they refused to cionsider it by simply saying Display is not covered under warranty)I checked the mobile and realised that its getting switched off after every 2 minutes they told me becuase the charge is not complete its happening so once you completly charge it will be ok.I relaised later that the phone is not working as its getting turned off frequently (This problem was not there while giving the phone for service)I again went to the service centre (job code:5376)on 18th march 09(the 6 day delay as i was travelling) and they nformed that its a virus on the memory chip and they will repair and give it to me back on 19th march09.Since then every day they were giving n no of excuses and today they confirmed that the mother chip has to be replaced and i have to pay another 3600 and will take another 15 dqays more as this service is not available in bangalore.I am not given a stand by phone also it is expected that i have to bear all this.This is the worst ever service that any bosy can expect .I am really disappointed with this and i feel i made a mistake by buying sony erricson.The response from the service centre is below standard.
