[Resolved] Tata Sky — Channels Unavailable | |||
I have Tata Sky connection at my home, I opted for South Indian Pack which I got. Last month they removed DD Malayalam & Amritha Channel and now they have taken away Kairali channel. I was never informed and neither given any other options. Not at all happy with the service given to me. My mail ID is [protected]@gmail.com. It seems that TATA SKY has a problem with MultiRoom. After they installed that multiroom, on a regular basis some of the channels are not comming (Like SET MAX, BBC, CNBC-TV18 etc).
Called in repeated times, technitian came around 5 times, changed LNP, switched the Boxes from one tv to another, changed DISH allignment, but still the same problem.
I am waiting for my 6 mths subscription to be over and go to someone else.
Very dissapointed with Quality, and sincerity. I think they are not capable of solving any issue.

If this happens everyday it is no outage problem you should call the customercare and seek assistance in getting it fixed. They may either be able to check the alignment of the dish antenna for this at times they may enable a force range to get frequency altered and gain higher reception. If that will not help out they may arrange for a tech visit it will be charged. The engineer will be able to solve the problem in a better manner and may identify where the issue lies. You may also try restarting the STB in the morning sometimes that helps.

I HV PURCHASED THE ANNUAL MEGA PACK FOR rs 5500/- for 12 months it is anyhow expensive for getting all channels but still i paid since other DTH services are even worst then tata sky as per experiences from my friends using Dish TV / Reliance / Airtel etc.
Tata Has a big name and i think they should live up to their name... request you guys to improve your services and get the latest channles available to customers and leave the choice of buying it or not.

i had registered complaint on21st november regarding faulty setup box but till date there is no response on the said subject moreover i have not recharged my account hence kindly arrange to replace the setup box as soon as possible.i will recharge my account once the above said setup box will be replaced.

I hv online purchase tata sky in last week of March 16 in 1 months free subscription scheme. But dated 22/03/2011 niether any instalation persion contact me nor give the proper responce by the custermer care. Eventhough in tata sky site help no specially north india no. is not working.Hiws call centre persion is not cooperate with online purchaser.

reasons for stopping the services of kairali t.v, amrita t.v. and india vision without informing the exclusive malayalam channel viewers because malayalam is selected malayalam as regional language pack and i think this was a violation of terms and conditions an early reply is solicited for further action- my mobile number is [protected] i.d.no.[protected]
we had opted for regional malayalam with standard pack of which we have two connections for which we pay more than Rs. 600/- per month. Even then there were no prior information for stopping the services of kairali t.v, amrita t.v. and india vision. This, i think this was a violation of terms and conditions an early reply is solicited for further action- my mobile number is [protected] i.d.no.[protected]. From yesterday we are not getting any services, and when we placed a complaint we were told to deposit an amount for registering the complaint. This is the poor service we are getting for such a huge amount we have paid towards installation and the charges that are deducted monthly.
