[Resolved]  Voltas Ac — Customer service sucks

I have bought Vertis elite 1 ton split AC from "R.A electronics, panch bati bharuch". Within a months time, i have a water dripping problem from the pipe. On complaining to R.A electronics, he did not respond for 8 days and on calling again, he said conveyance charges(Rs 150/-) has to be paid and even after this he does not guarentee immediate service. Does voltas have such bad dealers who piss off their customers?

I've purchased a 1 ton Voltas Vertis Gold AC some 7-8 months back. Since last one month the AC is not working. Engineers have been making rounds but are not able to repair it.
I've been asking the dealer Tater International, Kandivli. to replace the same but he turns a deaf ear to my request.
Also the engineer had taken my AC remote along with the parts for repairs and has brought a old worn out remote in it's place.
Yesterday (8th Nov'09) the engineer got back some parts and said i have to pay him rs.750/- as he had got the part repaired from some private ac repairs...Why shoud i pay him when my AC is under warranty?????

Please help me to replace the faulty AC that had been fitted

Voltas Vertis Plus Split 1.5 Ton AC — no sufficent cooling

i government doctor bought a voltas vertis plus split 1.5 ton ac on jan 18th 2008 and installation was done subsequently by the company people. within 6 months i was forced to call the company people saying that cooling was not sufficient, they checked nearly for 10 days they said at that time that the gas coolent circulation was not adequate and they opned my out door unit and brought inner copper coils outside and they checked which till date they have not replaced inside, for which they explained if problem comes we can check easily.i asked company service manager that the unit is in good condition and if not please ask company to replace me since i have warranty but he denied that my job i not to recommened for replacement but to repair it which i will do, i questioned if problem comes after warranty will what ot do ,he said we ahve to wait and see. still then cooling is not sufficient and i have called company people more than 4 times in this gap now my ac is running but no cool effect is there, service people said that gas is not circulating freely. i doubt the efficiency of the service people because despite of repeated same complaint no senoir service engnieer has come to check some beginners come and check and go. i plead the forum to look into this matter seriously and take necessary action for me
Yep, you are right voltas is the worst company. I also bought Vertis 1.5 ton split AC from "Naval Base, Kochi, Within a 15 days time, a big sound coming from the inside and its not cooling . On complaining to chennai and delhi, they are not responding and calling again, Voltas is worst customer service in the entire country.
I had purchased the AC from CROMA paying premium though the same product was available in the market at lesser price

My only expectation was better service but contrary to that I didn't got a demo from the companies side though the same was promised by the executive in CROMA

The concern here is not that nobody came to give a demo but the concern here is nobody bothered to visit for free check up not only that but when I had registered a call I only got a SMS saying you would be visited shortly but nobody visited and after few days when I enquired again I was informed that my call was closed. How can some one close the call even without visiting the premises when this was brought to the notice of the customer care they were trying to cover the mistake instead of correcting the same. After several reminders when I have not got any response from the customer care I am forced to write this letter

sir i purchased a samsung 1 ton split ac from RAJKAMAL ELECTRONIS , VIJAYAWADA on 060309.at the time of purchase the dealer has assured me that the company will provide a couple of free services to the customers.but to my surprise any body either from the dealer or from the company has turned up to do free service.to day i enquired with the dealer about my free service and it seems that the dealer has given complaint to your local service people.they came and told me that as the warrenty period is over they can not provide free service as to day is 090310. then iasked him why no body from company attended the for free service during the warrenty perod ; they told me that as i have not given any complaint they have not attended.now my contention is that it it is the responsibility of the company to provide freeservice irrespective of complaint from the customer as done by the other companies like voltas and LG etc.i have another a/c in my house and that is from VOLTAS AND they used to come and do free service with out any complaint from me.as such i thought samsung also will do the same thing as it is an international company.iam astonished when your people told me that unless a complaint is given they will not attend the free service. i think this stand of the company is not going to increase the image of the company.generally a customer will complain if there is any problem durig the gurantee period otherwise he will not give any compaint.as such the stand of the comany is totally unfair and it is detrimental to the image of company.it is also a breach of the assurance of free service given by the company.and finally i request you provide me with free service as assured by the company
I bought 2 voltas split ACs last summer from Orion electronics, Tirupur. As such, I dont have any complaint with AC units. But dealer and his service professional - are a pain to deal with. Experience 1: At time of purchase - I was promised date / time for fixing ACs at my home (for a Saturday) and I waited the whole day waiting for installation guys. After making atleast 10 calls through out the day, I was told around 8 PM that installation cannot be done since their engineers were caught up else where and I had to wait till Monday. At time of installation also, markings were not done properly and hence the hole made in the wall is atleast 50% outside the unit. Experience 2: I was promised 2 free services in the year. But dealer didnt send any one for service even once. When I call up to fix an appointment, I was given an appointment was last saturday 9 AM. But as usual, the service engineers call up at 8 PM in the night and ask me if it is fine, if they come on Monday. I call up office & after 30 mins for arguements, he agrees to send engineers for service on Sunday. 2 days wasted for just servicing ACs Experience 3: I had another older Voltas Vertis AC - for which I had placed request for service. This was also done along with free service. Service engineers spent around 20 minutes cleaning grill & filters in the indoor and 2 minute water wash for outdoor unit. For this service (!!!), I was charged Rs. 500. They didnt even check refrigerant or anything else. Though, I am satisfied with quality of ACs, I am terribly unhappy with the support provided by delaer. At best, I will score them 1/10.
I bought a Vertis Plus 1.5 ton AC in April 2009 from Viveks, Bangalore. I was told that V-Guard stabilizer was the best in the market, so accordingly I purchased it. Within two weeks, the stabilizer developed a problem, and had to be replaced after many calls and follow-up with the Voltas authorised service dealer and the V-Guard company.

Now, 11 months after purchase, we faced a problem again. Since it is within warranty period, we asked the Voltas authorised dealer to come, but we were told that we had to pay Rs.350 as visiting charges. On contacting Voltas directly, my complaint was noted, but I was told the minimum time required to attend to a complaint was 24 hours. I am sorry to say I have not received either a call or a visit from them although it is well past 24 hours.

On the whole, our experience with the after-sales service was bad. One would expect much better service from a Tata group company.

this is kind information that. we have purchased the 11AC from coolways agencies sirhind road patiala dtd 17/07/2008, bill no 108. yet now 2AC compresser is damaged. i am not satisfied with your company.we told to local distributer. local distributer is not get the service.so please take the action and give the service

I have bought two Voltas Windows A.C 1.5 Ton, Model Elite last year 2009 from Laxmi Nagar – New Delhi.
Despite of calling / sending mails for the service no one has turned up for doing service for the same.
Given time then also no one has come up for the service.

I have one question to this company. They say Bharat Ka No 1 AC.
I would like to comment on this company that they should not fool the customer by saying this. I was not aware of the fact before buying the ac with Voltas. Frankly speaking I was having before Samsung & LG A/C there service are much better that this worst company.

As I thought that this company is associated with TATA so might be better that Sumsung & LG and other competitors which are there in the market.

Now, I want to appeal that I want to return both the a/c to this No 1 WORST COMPANY & return my money which I have invested with no gain. All the customer / consumer who are reading this message never ever go for VOLTAS as there service sucks n AC is also not worth with any other one. Also, we are paying more as compare to the other brands which have much better functions.

Voltas vertis 1.5 — poor service

I bought a Voltas 2TR AC from Effecient Cooling Systems, SF 51 Galleria Market, DLF Phase IV, Gurgaon, vide their Invoice No 1559 dated 7th June '07.
As per the Sevice Manual, Voltas was supposed to inspect & service the AC free of charge for a given number of occassions. None of that happened.
The performance of the AC was far from satisfactory, with the compressor not coming on for long periods of time not withstanding the fact that there was a voltage stabelizer as also a Servo unit.
The last straw is now the compressor has ceased and is not working.Since there is a guarantee of 5 years for the compressor, I called up their service centre on the toll free number on the 21st March & spoke to one Sujan Kumar who gace me my complaint no as 10MR2202139 & assured me that the complaint would be resolved within 24 hours. On no one coming to attend to the complain till wednesday 24th March, I once again called up the service centre to be told that my earlier complaint was not on record and that they would now register a fresh complaint. When I asked to speak to the Supervisor, teh agent Aditya initially refused to connect me to him. On my persistence the supervisor Mr Sagar Shah finally came on line & all the assurance that he could give me was that he would send an e mail for my complaint to be attended to on a priority. I agree Voltas is on the decline & their products & service leave a lot to be desired.
I have bought split AC from Shivalik Aircon, Punjabi Bagh.Dealer is unable to provide Service & Voltas customer Care centre is not responding properly.They are actually very smart, when the product was under warrenty, they attended and took more than one months time to solve the problem and after that they said now your warrenty is expired. I will never suggest anyone to go for voltas product.
I brought new split ac of 1.5 ton there was some manufacturing defect it was broken from comer. i complain regarding this they told we will replace the plastic part my complain no is 10MR0800596 . i have paid full payment i want my product should be replace by new product why should i will take repair product ..

Tata / Voltas Vertis — new ac repaired three time in a year

last year i have bought two AC. One of them it is repaired three times .In short 50% of the summer it was switched off .Now again it is out of order so i want this piece to get changed.
We are using Votas A.C . but we r facing problem from last 15 days. I just complained on [protected] and a word with ur executives namely prasad ( Senior Executive Hyderabad), Sarla, Ved, Om Prakash, Bhanu, Rashad, Shaym, neha. The complaint no. is 10mr2504328. They told me that we are sending our Technician immediately. But didn't get any solution till now. We are using this A.C in Our Server room. If there will be any damage in our server who will be responsible .
I have spent huge amount on phone calls but did not get any reply.. So i am loging a complaint against Voltas People in the consumer protection .

1.5 ton window Air Conditioner — AIR CONDITIONER DOES NOT START

MY 1.5 TON SAMSUNG AIRCONDTIONER IS NOT STARTING DUE TO SOME ELECTRONIC PROBLEM,THE SAME WAS PURCHASED IN LATE 2004 BUT TILL DATE IT HAS NOT GIVEN SATISFECTORY SERVICE AND MOST OF TIME REMAINS UNEFFECTIVE. HOWEVER, NUMBER OF TIMES COMPLAINTS WERE MADE TO SERVICE CENTRES. IN RESPONCE SOME JUNIOR TECHNICIAN COMES AND GIVE UNTECHNICAL RESONS AND LEFT IT AS IT IS.
THIS TIME ALSO I HAVE MADE A COMPLAINT ON 22.03.10,AFTER NUMBER OF REMINDER CALLS ,YESTERDAY A TECHNICIAN CAME AND TOLD ME THAT HE DID NOT HAVE REQUIRED TOOLS TO CHECK SO SEND IT TO WORKSHOP.

GOD ONLY KNOW WHEN MY AIRCONDINER WILL BE SET RIGHT.

KINLY LOOK INTO AND GET RECTIFIED MY ABOVE REFERED AIRCONDITIONER ON PRIORITY.

I purchased an AC Voltas Vertis Plus 1.5 Ton from Sadana Enterprises, Power House Chauraha, Kanpur Road, Lucknow on 17.03.2010 and install this AC at my home M733, Aashiana colony. When the AC was installing, i complain to Sadana that this AC was second hand and many scraches were showing in his body and grill, and no papaer as warrenty card, booklet etc. has not be given to me. After that he says that they will chang the AC next day, but AC was not chaned next day. After many time complain Sadana changed my AC after one week with bad vehaviour and they given me warranty booklet with seal of other sadana showroom. That after I say to him that demo tobe done again and also say that to voltas service center tel. no.[protected] and voltas service complain was registered by complain no. MR2601230. Again one week expired but no body come to home for demo till today.
Now I complain that the services of Sadana Enterprises, Power House Chauraha, Kanpur Road, Lucknow is very poor and dealership of voltas be cancelled and the services of voltas service center is also very poor.
