surrender value is 50% of what I have paid in last 7 years

My wife taken a policy called Max Life Amsure bonus builder in the year 2010. And paying the yearly premium regularly and 2 days back we though of surrendering it and when we called customer care the response was that we would get only 35000 where as we have paid the premium for 7 years which comes to 70000 + amount.

Want to know the surrender policy balance amount.. It is more than delay. Now i am 70 years. I want the total amount of premium paid by me through axis bank up to july 2016 the detail calculation and the bonus amount. You are given very meager amount. This is not satisfaction to me. If not proper reply i will complaint the matter to the irdai. And against axis bank as acting your agent. I am very sorry....

Unfortunately in august 2015 he was diagnosed with brain tumor iv stage and was treated with radiotherapy and chemotherapy followed by surgery and managed to survive 10 months after diagnosis. He was bed ridden for last 6 months completely unconscious, not able to coordinate any movement. At last he died on 10th june 2016 fighting the disease....

fraud calls related to my insurance policy

Similar to other complaints posted in this group, I have also received continuous calls from GBIC relating to my insurance policy with MaxLife. I do not understand how the policy information gets leaked to others. This is a serious issue and I hope MaxLife shall address this asap.
