[Resolved]  Bharti Airtel Mobile Postpaid — [protected] :wrong bill plan+no response from 121 & nodal officer

even after writing from 11th may 2013 my problem isn't resolved yet & airtel even barred my outgoing now.
I tried to email airtel appellate <appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com>, but i get a reply that I didn't mentioned my mobile no. in the subject line(which i did in the format I was asked for, i.e., my ten digit no. without space or any special character.)

The scene is I've been committed for plan 149 from the airtel MNP representative when i opted for MNP from IDEA to airtel, but I've been charged with plan 200 something. With no proper response from airtel I sustained myself from paying any bill amount.

Airtel has now barred my outgoing w.e.f. today i.e., 1st june 2013. I called airtel 198 & asked them to un-bare my outgoing but in vein.Now I won't entertain any kind of charges/rental for this day(01/06/2013) & onwards as I wasn't allowed to use my number from 1st june i.e. today.

I 'd attached scanned copy of my original subscriber form with the plan name highlighted by using paint for their reference.

2. Contact number of the sales executive: i dont remember that.
3. Location of the airtel relationship centre/ location from where the
connection was procured: i posted my no. for airtel mnp on your airtel.in site
mnp section. i got call from the airtel(as he said). i selected the 149 plan
they couriered me(which they said is procedural) the h2 sim(which i m currently
using, n i now dont have that courier packet), mr anay came to my place to
collect the refundable security of rs.250
4. Scan copy of subscriber form of mine attached (the carbon writing is little light but it
readable that plan 149 is written on that.

Airtel Postpaid Plan — Wrong Plan

Sir,

I, Sunil Kalamkar, was using Airtel prepaid service three months ago. A Airtel executive, Mr. Aniruddha Dahane came to me and asked to convert my prepaid to postpain in their "Padmashali" plan, which has 1500 min Airtel-to-Airtel free talktime, Rs. 150 rent, and Rs. 0.75 local outgoing. Because I have in my family large number of Airtel users, I agreed for this plan and with the fee of Rs.150, I changed it to postpai, but since then I have not got the above-mentioned plan as of yet.

When I called the executive, he replied me that after first bill, it would be changed to the plan, I waited for two months and paid two bills thereafter. I was repeatedly keep calling Mr. Dahane for the same, and a week ago, I got a call from Mr. Rakesh Gjimwar who I was told is the Manager of Mr. Dahane, that if I would pay the current month bill of Rs. 250, even if the month was not completed, my Retail Plan will change to "Padmashali." I paid the bill immediately on May 29, 2008, but my plan is yet not changed.

I want to file the complaint against Mr. Aniruddha Dahane and Mr. Rakesh Gajimwar.

postpaid mobile no. — for bill plan

Dear/sir

Due to request i am Ashutosh R/o A-19, bhikaji fire station new delhi-110066.I have a Air tel post no.(a/c no.[protected] and my bill plan is 297 pm in this plan you calling charge is 50 p. local call and STD is 1.50p. But my bill is garneted 1.00p local call and Std is 2.50p so i request to you please see my problem and urgently solved.

I had sent a query to them over email on 1st Oct 2008 at 12 noon. Immediately, got an auto reply stating they would get back within 24 hours.

Till date, even after 72 hours, no response from them.

Airtel Mobile — Post paid

I had 02 prepaid life time sims the airtel guy visited my office & coxed me to convert it into post paid, he said that if the other no is also added i would be able to talk on other no @ 10p. Any ways i submitted the documents since i was in my office all i was carrying with me was my voter id, photo & pancard. So i paid the guy 400 rs & xerox of documents were given

Now i never saw that the address mentioned om the voter id is wrong (courtsey our election commission)

The guy came for verification & turned it negative. Thereafter the horrific tale started first of all after i recd the sms that the outgoing calls are stopped due to negative verification, i contacted the agent, he told me to submit some other documents & politly said "not 2 wrry i'll get it done" after making me run around from piller to post finally they said that it cannot be done, they will not refung my money.
On top of it if i want to retain my old no's as prepaid i have to shell out Rs.175 per connection. So i was left high & dry of Rs 800 appox and the airtel guys went all the way laughing to the bank.

I am in postpaid plan I want to change the plan, but Airtel is charging migration charge of Rs. 250 for migrating from post paid to prepaid, which is against the Telephone Regulatory Act of India. Some one please look into this issue.

Airtel Postpaid complaint — Billed for calls I never made

Dear Sir,



This is regarding the Airtel bill that I received for the month of October 09 for which I was billed for a 4 hour 20 minute long STD call, which I never made! I am sure that such a call was never made from my sim and can prove the same. Please read on.



I have been using an Airtel postpaid corporate connection with the no:[protected] for the past two years (before that I had been using a prepaid connection). Although I have always felt that the bills that I used to receive were outragious and far beyond my actual usage I did not get ample proof for this until now. Last month on the 11th of October I received an unbilled amount of 467.59 which was around 400 rupees more than that of the previous day. I was very sure that it was a mistake from Airtel's part and immediately called up the customer care to rectify the matter. They replied saying that they can resolve it only next month(november) as they dont have the details of call history availiable to them (what sort of customer service is this? There was no transparancy at all). I very well knew that if I dont keep tab of these complaints I made Airtel will easily throw my complaint out of the window. The two reference numbers that I received from Airtel Customer care for the complaints I made are as follows F56800695 and F[protected]. I believed that the customer care executive told me and temporarily rested my case.



On November 3rd I received the bill for the month and I checked for the detailed bill in the Airtel site and to my shock I saw that they have claimed that I made a 4 hour 20 minute call to an STD number that I knew and had billed me 390.00rupees for the same. I have never made such a lengthy call because I very well know that I never made a call of more than 20 minute with my number. I can prove my claim because the handset I have been using for the past 3.5 years is a Motorola L7 handset and of late (for about 3 months) the battery capacity has dwindled so much that I cannot make a call of more than 25 minutes using my cell as the battery goes dead after that. The call history of the previous 4 months is proof for that. My cell was with me and not in use for the time mentioned in the detailed bill.



I made a complaint to the Airtel customer care on 10th of November and they gave me a reference number of 29290620 stating that they will resolve the matter and get back to me before 2:00pm on 12th November. But they did not get back to me. So I called up the customer care again and this time they say that the issue is resolved and that I had made that call. And when I repeatedly asked them for an explanation for the same they said they dont have any and adamantly insisted that I better pay up the bill and that the issue is resolved from their perspective. Now I am forced to pay the bill for the calls that I have not made. And because of the unbilled issue I was not able properly use the cell also for the month of October.



I would like this issue to be resolved and Airtel should stop cheating its customers. Anyways I am going to discontinue using this connection as this time they crossed the limits real bad.

AirTel — wrong billing and no response

Hi Airtel,
I think you are cheating the customers. I sent a mail about the signal problem at our area, since 2+ years No actions as of now.
I am roaming right now, with Rs: 66.00 card, they said 1 paisa/ minute & 1.2 paisa for roming/std, but I didn't see that is happening.
You junk company billing is very differently -- I made a some std call which was about 12 seconds ... your junk system shown that 100 seconds and costing me Rs 1.50 and the same for when I received a call also. ... Is your system fault? you wanted to chaeat your customer.

I hope if you are not chaning your way of working .. Dec 31 will answer airtel. Now I can say with 3 years of experence you are a company.

Bharti Airtel Mobile — Wrong Bill

From past 5 years I'm using Airtel mobile number [protected]. As I was verified my last month Bill number[protected] dated 21.12.2009 and the bill period 20.10.2009 top 19.11.2009.
Generally I'm not receiving the itemised statement. But this time when I requested the Customer care they have sent the itemised statement to my official mail id on 04.12.2009 and when I cross check that I found that they charged September month cost also in between the October and November month bill. (in page number 6,7,11,12,13,15 and 16). When I requested to the customer care on 03.12.2009 and I was not got any answer from them. Once again I have approached customer care on 04.12.2009 then they informed me that they have raised the complaint with SR No.29744250 and then will get back to me with in 7th of Dec,2009 as my bill due date was 9.12.2009. Till now I have not received any mail or call from the customer care. Now I was in doubt that they may be many times they have generated this type of bills as I was not aware as I'm using this number[protected] from past 5 years.

Airtel mobile service postpaid — Wrong billing

Airtel has done a wrong billing and asking me to pay for it. from my mobile call was not made to a # and they continue to accept their billing error.

on 20-Nov, they have done a billing for Rs.1100+.. my average mobile bill amount is only less Rs.400 or so and it has never exceeded this amount.

they are talking about a 5 digit # call.. one call made @ 7:36 am for 1 hr 30 min (Rs.546 bill amount only for this call) and anohter call @ 7:43am (7 min. from the start of the first call) for 1 hr. 33 min. (Rs. 564 charged for this call)

Airtel repeatedly says, they are charging as per their server report.

we never made call to this # and I would like to proove my case and make them understand.. would be helpful, if you could suggest me a way out.. thanks.

Airtel Mobile Plan — Wrong billing

I had been offered mobile plans from airtel in writing on 06 july 2009. I had more 15 numbers working as on date and increased total connection to 25 then and was assured verbally that my all plans would be activated within few days. This plans were lot cheaper then earlier plans. But I was charged according to old plans and so a very heavy amount was paid by me. The service personnel asked me to activate 5 more numbers (She told me that bosses are not approving plans since number of connections were less even after they readily offered me plan before, from their end only and without any obligation to number of connections). I then took new connections but again all bills recieved were not correct as per plan. I am constantly writing about this problems to all the senior personnel of the company. I had written more than 100 mails and called more than 50 times to 121(customer complaint), nodal officer(which works when there is no response from 121, within 10 days. I am repeatedly asking thm for contacts of grievances department which looks into issues when there is no response from nodal officer but they are not providing me with same.
My second problem is they do wrong posting of cheques at their end for example if we paid cheque of Rs. 5000 for our one no. b then they post it in our No.c account and our number b is blocked. This harms image and reputation ofmy company in the eye of my employee who is using this number. They are also disturbed by the continious calls recieved for the outstandings which has been actually been paid. I am totally fed up and feel like puppet in hands of airtel since they know it is not easy to change our numbers and they keep on harassing me by their calls. I had paid more than Rs.25000 on there mere assurances that these amount will be son adjusted in my account.

Airtel mobile postpaid — Wrong Billing

I have an airtel mobile for the past few years and, off and on the service provider gives trouble wherein callers find me out of range when I am not or they find my phone switched off when it is not.Since the past two days I am not able to call or receive calls even though full signal is there.However , without making any calls at all on a single day I am being billed for Rs 100 to Rs 150.
When I want to call them also their website is not at all user friendly and is unable to give me a number which I can call from a non airtel mobile.
Going down to the airtel centre is a sheer waste of time because there is always a long queue.I wonder what right such companies have to operate in our country when they are downright dishonest in their billing and cannot provide the basic services.

I can understand your problem, these are the tactics by which such companies cheat their esteemed customers.

In my opinion the only way to overcome this problem is to approach appropriate Consumer Forum.

Consumer forums are very effective in these type of cases. and court fee is also nominal.

AirTel — Wrong plan bill

I received a bill of Rs.3394.00 on[protected] before which I have contacted Ms. Nisha Rajput the Nodal officer
for disconnecting my internet services. After which I came to know that my bill is not paid. My plan was Rs. 399 where i was told that upto 10 GB is free. After the conversation with the Nodal officer she told me that there is no plan as such. then I told her that the Airtel Branch office is Vasai(w) directed me in such way. After a long conversation she told me it was their mistake and wrong plan was applied to me. I was directed to pay the different amount i.e[protected]=799. I paid Rs.800 at Vasai Retail shop. Today[protected]
I recieved a call from the Airtel office that I have not paid Rs.2595. Presently my plan is Rs.599

AirTel — Mobile plan

I had ported in from tata docomo to airtel, I am supposed to get 10p/min airtel to airtel call rates for certain numbers but i am being charged 50p. None of my complaints are being treated seriously and I have been calling costumer care for almost a week daily to get this thing resolved. These guys have gon down to the extent of faking call transfers and disconnecting the calls and given wrong number of the nodal officers. I
I really feel so sorry for customers who leave their existing service providers just to join Airtel...

I'm an Airtel customer (and desperately trying to move out under MNP and facing fraudulent tactics by Airtel to either deny or delay the request) for over 6 years and from my experience I am telling you that Airtel is probably the worst service provider in the country now. Their business comes first for them customers come only later.
