Abp Weddings — Refund and Unprofessional behaviour

I bought a plan of Rs 12500 initially. After a year an agent contacted us over call and convinced us to buy a 180 days plan worth Rs 9500, as I already had a plan, they reduced the amount to Rs 3800. This payment was made on 12.06.2021. Post this nothing was done from their end.

After number of complaints over call by my mother, they called and arranged a visit on 11.01.2022, the agent Sushmita Saha and Shantanu visited and they acknowledged that there was a service gap from their end and the necessary actions has been taken against the previous advisor and yet again they convinced to make a purchase of Exclusive Matrimony Services for 150 days worth Rs 25000 but they collected the payment of Rs 13000 and very confidently confirmed that this time there will be no service gap and two managers will be assigned.

After this for the couple of days, we received no response from them and then after few days an agent called Khusboo contacted my mother and told that she will be sending two to three profiles over email and whatsapp in a week.

But still we received no response and my mother contacted them and again complained about this after that they whatsapp and emailed us the profiles. Again their service stopped for few weeks and again after repeated calling from my mother to her she emailed me two profiles.

We had already told them about our criteria but still few of the profiles which were shared were not on the basis of the criteria that we requested.

Now, whenever we are calling the three above agents (Shantanu, Sushmita Saha and Khusboo) they are not receiving the calls but when initially when we had a conversation with them, they said that they will be easily available and in case they failed to receive the call then they will call us back. Yet again they are showing their unprofessional behaviors to us.

My mother today (21.02.2022) called Khusboo and Shantanu who didn't receive the call. Agent Sushmita Saha only had my number so when my mother called her using her number she received the call but after realizing that one of her customer is calling her she said that Sushmita is not available and she left her phone somewhere which again is a sign of an unprofessional and ridiculous behavior.

All of our money is hard earned but they are just wasting our time and money. I now want my full money back which is Rs 29300, if you want me to provide you the invoice, I can gladly send you all the invoices. Just need you guys to stop harassing the common people like this and stop promising something which you can't fulfill. We are not here to expand your business, we also have some expectation which you as a company need to fulfill.

If I do not receive any satisfactory response within a week which is on 28.02.2022 then I will gladly contact the Consumer Court and drag you all there as I am very much aware of how all this works.
