Sir. Recently i became a victim a scam job in abroad.I want to take action against him bastert. Anuj was the name of that person he giving advertise on olx job in abroad and gulf and Singapore Malaysia in geant company. his previously contact no [protected] and name anuj now he is giving advertse with different name and no now he mention name Alok and p.no.[protected]. sir i want to take action against him Was this information helpful? | |||

Please be aware of a Job scam for luring he innocent job seekers in India in the name of jobs in Malaysia and Singapore etc.
How it happens - 1. The Fake employer will look up the details from a job site and call your number and discuss about a job opening.
2. He / She will arrange a Fake interview and announces that you are selected and sends a Fake offer letter merely types on a word doc. Their Email communication will also be lousy or very lay man butler English.
What happens then? They will say that Singapore work visa / employment pass comes at a price around 5000 SGD or any amount and ask you to deposit to their India account or Singapore account and they will call you and convince you that they are trustworthy.
They also send you IRAS (Inland revenue Authority) ( So called Income tax department) Screen shots which mentions that the employee company is registered and try to prove that they are trustworthy.
They will chase you by repeated calls mentioning that they will apply urgently as soon as you deposit money.
If you Fall for it, You will end up depositing or sending money to their accounts and ultimately you will be a prey for the scam.
Facts to remember before accepting offer and when they ask for money deposit-
1. In Singapore, work visas will be issued by Ministry of Man power(MOM) and they are completely transparent and corruption free Never ever believe that That they take bribes ( in fact, Singapore is a Corruption free country in world and strict independent bodies are ever vigilant to ensure that reputation is retained). Please do refer to the Ministry man power website and you can post a query and they are happy to answer and you can call MOM as well.
2. Singapore Work visa ( employment pass) will cost around only 120 - 150 dollars only and completely online and no face to face.
3. If anything appears to be too good, it is really not at-least in this case.
4. Please do reach out to me in case you need any advice and you land in this kind of situation. ( [protected]@gmail.com). I want to prevent the onsite / foreign job aspiring innocent job seekers from getting scammed.

Case - This is a True case where my friend Raju from Bangalore has fallen for a Fake person called KALIMUTHU. He claimed to be a Genuine person and employed all the above mentioned tactics. He ended up losing 50K Indian rupees. I had lodged a Police complaint with Singapore Police and they are investigating. But most of the scammers call from internet or VOIP calls from beyond the Singapore borders.
So the scammers are confident that they will never be brought to justice. The phone number can also be impersonated to look like a genuine singapore number
