I wish to lodge a complaint against Acer India Pvt. Ltd. for their continued negligence and poor service regarding my Acer laptop.
My laptop stopped functioning around two months ago dated: 27th Aug 2025 . Despite raising multiple service requests and sending several follow-up emails, there has been no proper response or resolution from Acer’s customer support. One technician did visit and confirmed that the issue was with the motherboard, but after that, no repair or replacement has been carried out.
Because of this inaction and repeated delays, my work has been completely disrupted. I depend on my laptop for professional assignments, and due to Acer’s negligence, I have suffered an estimated financial loss of around ₹10, 00, 000 (ten lakh rupees) over the past two months. In addition, this experience has caused severe mental stress, anxiety, and harassment due to the company’s lack of accountability and communication.
This case clearly falls under Deficiency in Service and Negligence as defined under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
I therefore request:
1. Immediate repair or replacement of the defective laptop.
2. Compensation of ₹10, 00, 000 for the financial loss caused by Acer’s negligence.
3. Additional compensation for the mental agony and harassment suffered.
4. A written acknowledgment from Acer India accepting responsibility and assuring that such misconduct will not happen again. Was this information helpful? |
