I purchased an Acer Swift Neo laptop via Swiggy InstaMart on Saturday, May 23, 2026. I was unable to register my warranty via the system pop-up, because the system failed to send me an OTP to validate my mobile number despite repeated attempts.
On Sunday, May 24, 2026, I called their customer care number[protected] and they instructed me to register my warranty via their website:

I was told that the warranty would be validated on their system within 24-48 hours and I should check the status on this link:
https://apn.acer.co.in/Acer/WarrantyValidation
On Sunday, May 24, I filled out the form and also uploaded the purchase invoice as per their requirements on Sunday, May 24, 2026. The website returned a message telling me that my registration was successful.
I have been checking the website regularly till date, and the warranty is still not validated as of May 28, 2026.
I called their call centre number earlier today and they asked me to send an email to: [protected]@in.startek.com, along with the product details and serial number, and attach a copy of the purchase invoice and ask them to validate the warranty from their end.
I sent the email at May 28, 2026 2:06:27 PM and I got a standard scripted email response within a few minutes at 28 May 2026 14:43, telling me to go to the website to register the warranty, along with detailed instructions.
I called the customer care number again and explained that their email was meaningless, as I had already registered my warranty, and wanted an explanation as to why it had still not been validated. The agent was helpful and said that they would validate the warranty from their end. I told him that I would wait for one hour, and if the warranty was not validated, I would take whatever actions I deemed necessary to escalate the issue, including legal remedies. He asked me to send another email to follow up on my earlier email, which I did.
The warranty has still not been validated.

Please read what I have written in my email very carefully.
I have already registered my warranty by following the exact procedure described in your email (appended below).
I would not have sent you my earlier email if your process would have worked.
Please take the time to read and understand the contents of emails sent to you by customers and refrain from sending such frivolous and meaningless replies.
I ask you to activate my warranty immediately based on the details and attachments I have sent to you in my previous email, and send me an email confirmation within 1 hour of the date and time of this email.
If you fail to do so, I reserve the right to take whatever legal actions I deem appropriate relating to deficiency of your service.

I was told by your customer care executive that the warranty would be validated in 48 hours. I have been repeatedly checking the website, and the warranty has still not been validated.
