On 6th June 2023 I have opted for a new Act connection, where Vignesh from ACT contacted me and I have paid the amount for 3 months Rs.3983/-
The installation person came to my house on the same day and installed the new connection, as the installation have not done properly without even checking the feasibility of the connection, I was facing disconnection in the internet every 10 min on the first day itself. I have contacted the installation person and conveyed the issue, he said he will come & check. I waited till 7th June the next day. He hasn’t came and he didn’t respond to my msg or call.
I raised a complaint request on 8th of June where the installation have been moved to service ticket. I have been raising a ticket everyday till 14th June and my issue has not been resolved. And I got to know from a customer support team that disconnection is due to box failure.
As per ACT guidelines they ll refund the amount only if there is installation failure, as my issue have been move to service ticket they are denying to refund my amount. Account no[protected]
Customer support people (especially Jayalakshmi who is handling my disconnection request) are not responding properly. They are saying they will disconnect the service but they won’t refund the amount. I didn’t get a point they why do we opt for disconnection. I wasn’t able to use the internet till now and it’s an installation failure, they are not agreeing and they aren’t not refunding the amount as well, I feel like cheated over here.
It would be really great if someone take action on it.
