[Resolved] ACT Fibernet — Connection disconnected without notification | |||||
I was using the connection for the past 6 months and suddenly Internet stopped working on Saturday the 21st January, 2017. I called up the ACT broadband callcenter and they said that it would be resolved by evening. I called them again on the same evening, they said that it would take another 24 hours, still no Internet. I then got a message that the Internet service was disconnected due to VD-IV-HET/CX PERMISSION NOT REQUIRED. I called up the Callcenter and they bluntly denied helping and said that nothing can be done and they have disconnected the connection as no line was available. THIS WAS THE KIND OF RESPONSE I GOT EVEN AFTER PAYING THE MONTHLY RENTAL WELL IN ADVANCE. I work from home and getting this kind of a blunt reply was never expected. I am feeling helpless with NO INTERNET now. My account number with ACT is 1343894. I am sure that they would not refund the amount that I paid in advance and security.
