This month (March 2016), i downloaded games in my xbox for around 50gb and i knew that i should be left with around 20 gb to survive the whole month but all of a sudden, it was exhausted in two days, since i'm used to high speed connection i went ahead and rest my fup for 60gb by paying rs. 1000+ and downloaded 10gb worth of data, in two days my remaining 50gb gone, i didnt reset the fup. I again went a head and reset my fup on 13th night around 7 pm since i need to setup the new mobile, i got 46gb for rs.771, downloaded all the apps i need, should not be more than 2 gb,
Monday morning (14th) i went to mumbai and came back on friday (18th), checked my usage stats, i have exceeded the limit, called them up and asked for the usage report, they sent it. There is a line item for march 16th in the evening, with in four hour there was a download for 26gb. Filled a complaint with them and received a call just now (March 23, 4:40 pm), they informed that the downloads are in order and the download has happened from my mac address, i told them that only mom and dad were there and how come they would have downloaded 26gb in a matter of 4 hours, that replied that they could have watched a blue ray movie online and informed that it would be 15 gb if they watch a 3 hours movie in blue ray format.
My mom and dad dont watch movies in iphone or ipad. Asked for a detailed report for 16th march and they said as per trai regulation they wont provide the detailed report to customers.
Act has started to rip off customers by this new tactics of exhausting their fup limit and im going to post this post every where i can. Have been asking my friends to switch to act now have to inform them about the fraud activity my them.
