[Resolved]  ACT Fibernet — False promises to get customers back

I received a callback around 22nd March saying that if I reinstate my connection and pay for 3 months that I'll get the modem and 1 month free.

To my pleasant surprise after paying the money for 3 months I'm told that the modem is not in stock and that I'll need to wait for 7-10 days. Around the 7th day the ticket gets closed by the concerned team saying that the 3 month plan is not eligible for modem.

And when I call the customer care number ( agent : Pooja Rani) states that she can't transfer my call to a supervisor as that option doesn't exist but will have one callback in 4 hours. I'm sending this mail after waiting for 5 hours and no callback.

Best part of this was when the rewiring was done for connection it wasn't done properly and so I had to raise a new complaint for that. The technician who answered the complaint had modems with him but couldn't give them without his superiors approval and this superior didn't pick up the call even after multiple attempts.

Now I'm stuck with slow internet and no modem but paid for 3 months in advance
