My act user id is 11973136 and i am on the 50gb fup plan at 30mbps plan. this plan was taken last month and within a week we faced problem in the connectivity. after much hassle and a tug of war, a guy from the isp came and resolved the connectivity issue (the issue was, we were not able to connect more than 2 particular devices to the internet either through wifi or lan). after this issue got resolved, then the other issue started. within few hours, it showed that the entire 50 gb along with the additional 25 gb that we got as bonus for a 6 month subscription was also over and the speed was pathetic.. it was less than 2g speed!!! we are 2 adults and 2 children under the age of 10 at home. there is no way they could have used the internet. and there are never any heavy usage or any download of hd content. even after repeated emails and calls to the customer service, we were not able to get any possible logical reason for the abrupt and heavy usage of the data. the data that the customer care sent us appears fabricated. even this month, its the same case. its the 8th of july and we are facing the same issue. the whole data limit is over and the speed is now below 128 kbps. the data usage that is being shown on the portal is simple garbage. there are ip addresses that are not even related to our connection. i am sure that act will come up with some bull reason for this too.
Another issue that was fishy was when i asked them how to logout from the portal page or if i could logout, the customer service agent was adamant that i should not logout from the portal page. when asked why, he was giving me reasons which were not at all reasonable. this is my connection and i should be able to connect or disconnect at my will!!
I am going forward with lodging a complaint with the consumer court regarding this issue as i am sure that contacting the customer care will be like talking to a brick wall... Was this information helpful? |
