[Resolved] ACT Fibernet — Internet usage exceeded by 14th of every month, no transparency | |||
I have taken a connection from Atria Convergence Technologies under the ACT Fibernet scheme at my residence in West Mambalam. The account number is 1132357. The promised speed is 20Mbps with a Fair Usage Policy of 40 GB every month, for Rs. 999/- plus ST. My connection is being throttled down to 512 kbps by 14th of every month saying that the FUP has been exceeded. The ACT Fibernet portal does not provide day wise itemised usage details. I have requested their customer support for itemised usage details and this has been flatly refused. Under this circumstances, I am suspecting foulplay to show that the usage is 40GB so that they can collect additional payment for excess download. Please investigate into the matter.
