[Resolved] ACT Fibernet — pathetic customer service by act | |||
I contacted the customer service on 14th of february around 2pm to enquire the details about reactivation of the account that i used to have earlier. My call was forwarded to their retention team and a gentleman named sunil from retention team has attended my call and has promised free shifting of connection from the previous place with an additional month of subscription, if i go for 6 months subscription. As i needed sometime to decide, i asked him to call me back on the same day evening, which i have never received. The next day (15th of february, 2020) i again contacted their support to know the reason why i have not received the call back. The lady who attended my call this time misunderstood my request as reactivation request where it was actually a call back request from the same person i have interacted earlier (Mr. Sunil) and has reactivated the account with the older plan and adding the shifting charges, without my consent. Since then i have been contacting to rectify this. And after a lot of struggle, mr. Sunil finally has contacted me and promised that he would be waiving off the charges levied and also that he would change the activation date as per my requirement along with free shifting. And, nothing happened as usual. As i am tired of calling them again and again, i finally gave up and requested for disconnection on 24th of feb, 2020. I was charged for the days i was not using it (When the connection is inactive) and was sent an invoice for the future month as well, which has totalled to rs.2029. Now, whenever i try calling them, none of the executives were able to provide me explanation and a gentleman named mr. Abhinav committed that i would not be charged. Now, i was sent settlement invoice with the same amount and even when i ask for a supervisor or a manager call back, they take the request every time and no one contacts me. This act people will never change. They will always says that they will check and get back to me and further no response from then. Such an idiotic service which I haven't seen till now.
