ACT Fibernet — Poor service assistance and complete outage | |||||
I am a registered user of ACT fibernet in Besant Nagar, Chennai. I switched over from BSNL to ACT 2 months back for the speed promised which is required for my official work purposes at home. In the past 2 months (from date of paying the installation and new connection deposits), the service has been down for more than 15 days now. The service response is very pathetic and all people whom I try to reach for help keep pointing me to some other person. I have spent huge amount of time and money on calling up the service assistance and am mentally harassed with the deceiving responses. To add to this agony, I am also not receiving bills by mail to make the monthly payment. For this too, I have raised an online complaint. So far, I haven't received even an acknowledgement that my complaint is received and will be taken care. The customer care number has never been reachable for the past 2 days (it says either "line busy" or "number does not exist" or "check the number you have dialed"). All these are in response to the customer care number posted in the ACT web portal. For once, yesterday, I could luckily get hold of a customer care executive who registered a complaint on my behalf and promised that the problem will be resolved in 1 day. But soon after 2 hours or so, I got a message that my complaint is addressed and closed though the problem is actually not resolved. I have invested a huge amount in getting the new connection, paying 1 month rent in advance and buying a new wifi modem. Today none of the numbers that I have are reachable.
