ACT Fibernet — Router provided not supporting plan speed misleading service by act fibernet

I am an ACT Fibernet customer from Bangalore. At the time of installation, I was promised that the router provided by ACT would fully support the subscribed internet speed.

However, I recently returned to the city and found that the speed I receive is less than 50% of what I’m paying for. After raising the issue, the support team admitted that the router provided does not support the speed of my plan.

This was never communicated before. I’ve been paying full charges for a plan that could never deliver its promised speed due to the inadequate hardware provided.

Despite contacting support, there has been no proper resolution or offer to replace the router.

I request either:

A compatible router replacement at no cost, or

A refund/adjustment for the months affected.

I have also raised a formal complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) — Docket Number: 7491280.

Please treat this seriously and resolve the issue promptly.
