I am writing to raise a serious grievance regarding the highly unprofessional and unreliable service provided by ACT Fibernet.
I opted for a new ACT Fibernet connection on 6th June 2025, after making a prepaid payment of ₹2, 301 for a 3-month plan. While the payment was processed promptly and installation completed the next day (7th June 2025), the service quality deteriorated almost immediately.

I am an ACT Fibernet customer from Bangalore. At the time of installation, I was promised that the router provided by ACT would fully support the subscribed internet speed.

However, I recently returned to the city and found that the speed I receive is less than 50% of what I’m paying for. After raising the issue, the support team admitted that the router provided does not support the speed of my plan.

Delay in relocation for which reason disconnection initiated and now not refunding the amount.

Worst experience ever had with ACT. Although raised connection shift request, ACT team is not able to perform that in 5 days of time for which reason, I opted to moved out of ACT. Since it is a 6 month plan, I should be getting the remaining amount as refund. But they are asking to find a act subscriber and they will transfer that to their act account and not as amount to my account.

For a mistake of ACT in delaying the shift...

Refund held by act for more than 10 days

I cancelled my service with ACT Fibernet on 9th June because of their unresponsive customer support and poor quality standards.

They initiated a refund of Rs 7634 on 9th June but its been more than 10 days and refund has been credited. The government mandate date for refund has already passed and I am still not getting any support from their care team....

Not shifting the connection to our new office location even after submitting shifting request

We have shifted our office to new location. We raised proper shifting request and a ticket has been raised. twice technician has assigned. Very worst experience they are not even picking our calls. But without shifitng our request they closed saying we are not responding to their call. From june 1 we are struggling without fibernet connection. Fraudulent billing

They sold the fibernet as prepaid. The sales told its advance rental prepaid service. I clearly asked i want prepaid not of postpaid generates bill. He mentioned it is prepaid. The swindlers says they gave grace time of 15 days and i need to pay for it. I dont get what is the meaning of grace time and what sense of prepaid it is. My internet connection was disrupted one week back. I have been a customer for 10 years now. When a complaint was raised, they claim some issue with juntion box, relocation which is a company's internal dependencies. I was not informed that there will be any disruption.

Afte multiple follow-ups they said they will have to install junction box in my house for which I gave consent but this has happened 3 days back but no update or communication except the estimated resolution date getting updated to next day every day.

Not able to connect with live agent on customer care for resolution. No escalation matrix to highlight the issue.

I have sent mail to customer care but no update

    I made the new connection payment on 6/3/2025 for the new Broadband connection. The sales team was behind me for making the payment instantly with back-to-back calls with a commitment that the installation would happen on the same day. This didn't happen, and the next day, two guys cam, e went to my terrace and told me we needed to install a box so for that another team will come and left. Till now I'm following up each and everyday with them for the installation and every time when I speak to their customer service they all assure me that today you will surely get it installed. Your appointment is booked for today, booked for tomorrow but still, no one is giving a solution. I finally told them to cancel it but still haven't got any revert for that.
    This is so wrong practice of giving false commitments to customer just to earn scam money from them

      I recently visited the app to upgrade my package and when I clicked on a Plan called Premium Mesh which shows me Wifi Router Image saying 'Included' and hence I decided to opt for this package and paid the amount 16815 for 10+2 Months. Now what your educated and intelligent guys did is they adjusted my current package 15369 amount from this upgrade package amount I paid and the rest amount was credited to my ACT app.
      I was misled with the router image on the Premium Mesh and now customer care/ installation guys tell me to pay 20178 for the Premium Mesh
      TOTALLY UNETHICAL!! and I am going to report this on every possible social media.
      Also when is requested to refund about the credit in my ACT App I cannot get it refunded to my savings account and Dinesh Kumar from Payments team very rudely and with a very negative attitude told me this today.
      WORST SERVICE EVER!!
      I did a mistake again to give ACT multiple chances.

        Hi my name is Mohammed Zubair, I am from Chennai I have been using ACT fibernet internet service from febraury 2022 to today ( March 6th 2025) 3 years totally.

        I am aware that the junction box is Fixed on my premises but i ignored it since the technician told me it has an inbuilt battery and doesn't consume much of electricity, recently i came to know that ACT is paying a special discount of 50 Rs for each month as a waiver for electricity used by the junction box.

        So I spoke to the Customer support person and explained the issue about the Junction box and they acknowledged my information that i have been using ACT for 3 years and the box is in my premise and proceeded to refund only 1 month waiver of 50 Rs only!.

        I was shocked by the response of ACT and called again to discuss about the situation and spoke to the billing department, The person said that even though I was using for 3 years and the junction box is consuming my electricity for three years I am only eligible for one year of waiver refund, I asked him that i paid the electricity for 3 years but only receive for 1 year?, he replied that it was the policy of ACT to refund only 1 year of waiver.

        This is totally un acceptable, I would like to get my waiver for all three years of electricity consumption by the junction box.

          I moved on to a new house and wanted my ACT Fibernet connection also shifted to the new location.
          This new location is just few meters away from current location
          When I try to raise a Service Ticket for this, I get an error asking me to try after some time
          I tried multiple times still I encounter the same error
          Then I called the customer care number to help
          I was connected to one Swathi
          Swarhi again asked me to connect to the same link that I tried multiple times and failed.
          I told her it is not working and asked her to help me raise the ticket
          But she insisted to wait and try later
          This site that they provided is not working at all
          How will I get my connection shifted?

              ACT router recovery + refund pending for while

              I had an ACT connection of 6moth plan and renewed it again, and due to the feasibility issue of placing the junction box the disconnection of it has been raised and accepted on Dec30-2024 after couple of followup's.

              During that time it has been promised that within 7 to 10 days router recovery shall happen, and after that only the refun amount shall be intiated and that would get completed in another 7 to 10 days.

              I booked the connection on December 31st 2024 online using their app and paid the 6 months advance rental plan of 400Mbps. They call to get the online document collection and confirmed the payment is done. After that, nobody contacted me till now and I had to book a new connection with different provider.
              Now whenever I call, they say the workorder is still open and till it's closed, I won't get the refund. This is ridiculous. How long it will take to close the workorder and process the refund.
              I had written to their helpdesk looping in their COO (Mr. Navneet), they all are least bothered to help.
              Also, ACT DOES NOT HAVE NODAL or APPELLETTE team to escalate. Everything has to go through their help desk. I need my money back.

                Hi, In the entrance of our street the ACT broadband wire is hanging very low and the school van' s and other heavy vehicles are not able to enter the street. This is causing difficulty for many people in the surrounding. Please arrange the technicians to fix it immediately.
