ACT Fibernet — Taking electricity from my house without my permission | |||
Hi, I was using ACT fibernet till Feb 2020 and requested permanent disconnection on Feb 2020.. ACT is drawing electricity from my house for thier junction box and I was given 50 rs discount every month. I have asked ACT to stop drawing electricity from my home after disconnection. ACT has confirmed my connection was terminated and they will remove junction box from my home.. I have moved to another home on Feb 2020 and moved back to this house again in sept 2021. I requested new ACT connection on sep 2021, but they said they will activate my old connection. After connection was activated I got first month bill on which I was again given 50 rs discount for electricity.. when asked ACT about the same, they confirmed thier junction box is connected to my house for 16 months without my permission. I asked them why they are stealing electricity from my house, they simply said it was mistake and it won't happen again.. no apology or anything from them.. Was this information helpful? | |||
