[Resolved] ACT Fibernet — Useless Customer Service and Billing Issues | |||||
I had been using ACT for some time. In Nov 2016 I had opted but for temporary disconnection. I reactivated in mid Dec 2016 the same as I had been offered zero reactivation. In my Jan bill, i had been charged for Reactivation. When i raised a query for removing the same, they validated with the billing team that I had the offer and promised to remove the same within 24 hrs. I clearly mentioned that I will not pay the bill until the charges are waived off. But before resolving the open service request on billing, they temporarily disconnected my connection and in 24 hours permanently disconnected followed by hundreds of collection calls for payment due (which included nill amount for complete Jan 2017 with the connection decativated on 19th Jan). I spoke with ACT and paid charged until 21st Jan and closed the connection. Also the wiring has all been removed by them in 2-3 days. All the customer support calls were for bill payment only but no one bothered about the Open Service request even then. Somehow I wanted to reactivate the connection with Act and I raised a request on 28th Feb 2017. Interestingly I see a bill amount included for rest of Jan 2017 and mid Feb 2017 in my March 2017 bill. No installation done until 11th March but bill provided from 28th Feb 017. I raised a complaint station that there is no wiring also since 21st Jan but why did you charge me until mid Feb and also included a late payment fee. The response I get is "Waiver cannot be provided". I dont understand what is the waiver I asked. I just asked to remove charges when I dont have the connection along with the late payment fee in Jan 2017 which is because o[censored]ntimely resolution on the open service request.
