My act number was 11356570 in bangalore. I got it disconnected two years back. But in july 2018 i received a message from them that reconnection charges will be waived if we order for reconnection. So i submitted a request. They sent one person to verify whether the reconnection is feasible. That person told me that there is no junction box nearby, so reconnection is not possible. But next day they sent me a bill for rs 1249.
I started receiving calls and emails for payment of that bill. I spoke to nodal officer, bangalore. He simply transferred the call to support team. I have explained about wrong billing. They told that their system is showing that connection is active that is why they have given the bill and asked me to pay the bill. I have enquired them how much data i have utilised? They checked and told me that i have not used any data. I have not used any data because the connection is not active in my home, it seems they have convinced about the wrong billing and told me that they will withdraw the bill.
But sofar nothing is done. I use to receive emails and sms for payment of bill.
So there is worst support team and lazy modal officer in act.
