Air India — Air India not accepting Inattentional Visa Credit card

Today on March 29 2022, I was trying to book Ari ticket on Air India website. With multiple try after entering the multiple Credit Card issued by various Canada bank such as CIBC, RBC, transaction was not happening. It was failing at Air India and throwing the error of payment not authorized. My dad is in ICU and I have to urgently travel . the ticket for March 31st which I was getting for $846 went to $921. Worse is yet to come Air India Canada and US customer care number is not working[protected]Toll Free) Then I had to spend further dollar in calling the Gurgaon India number to reach customer care at my 10:30 PM from them I came to know Air India is not accepting International Visa card. With this I lost so much productive time and Money. It would have highly appreciated if Air India has displayed a message on the payment page. I booked tickets on AirIndia and never faced any problem. Now, they do not accept any US Visa or US Mastercard. They do not accept India Rupee Visa Credit card. The only card they are accepting is Indian Master Card. God know, why would someone be forced to have an American Express Card. Worst case, when you call customer service - they have standard answer. Someone will call you. THEY NEVER CALL YOU. Are you kidding me? When customer service is so poor, expecting them to call you? Seriously. Good thing with Airlndia is they have tonnes of people answering your call in a jiffy. But they cannot fix this problem. I left my number with at least a dozen agents and all I get is an email that they tried calling you (again standard template email) and you did not pick the phone.
