Dear Sir/Madam, I was travelling on Air India from Ahmedabad to Delhi via Air India flight AI 532 on 24th April, 2023. It is to be noticed that the staff at the Ahmedabad Airport was highly incompetent and despite having web checked in, they informed us just as we reached the counter, that our bags had been checked in, when in fact they were not. They then unchecked the bags and rechecked us in and printed separate boarding passes again. We proceeded to put our luggage on the belt post which we were given new boarding passes. On checking the same, it was seen that they were 4 boarding passes of some other people with other names. On bringing it to their notice, they issued 4 new boarding passes and rechecked our bags again for a second time and issued fresh boarding passes with wrong seats for a third time. Post this we proceeded to check into our flight which was then delayed. The inflight food was inadequate and indedible and we reached Delhi around mid night. On reaching the baggage conveyor belt with 2 senior citizens and my mother, we received all check in baggages except mine. 6 baggages were checked in and we received only 5. I then went to the lost baggage counter and inquired about my bag. The staff was rude and unhelpful and could not locate my bag. They were so incompetent that they could not even contact the Ahmedabad airport to inquire about my lost baggage. The bag contains my injections as a Type 1 diabetic, cash, my important files to be used in Court the next day as I am a lawyer, clothes, electronics, shoes, make up and religious items along with other things, costing well over Rs. 2 lakhs. As a type 1 diabetic and a woman, requesting for help along with my mother and 2 senior citizen grandparents, I was offered no courtesy or even a glass of water. I was provided no help and all the staff could tell me is that the bag cannot be traced. I was oferred no remedy or even a place to sit or stay. I was asked to leave the airport and promised I would receive a call from Air India staff at 6:30am but I did not even receive the same. I thankfully had a place where I could retire to for the night, but since morning I have received no communication from Air India. My calls were hung up while I was still speaking post which my calls were not even picked up. My baggage has extremely important articles to me and this harassment is costing me money, mental peace and even my business. I kindly request your assistance in the same.
