[Resolved]  Airtel — aadhar verification complaint

I got the sim from airtel ten years ago when i was unmarried. I got a message yesterday saying that i have to reverify my connection using aadhar card. I got married before aadhar cards were issued in india therefore my aadhar card shows a different name (Husbands name) as compared to my maiden name which was used to purchase the sim ten years age. Saff at the airtel gallery refused to re verify my connection for this reason. I am aware connection will be discontinued by february next year if re verification with aadhar card is not done.
Customercare says that they cannot attend to this problem and cannot lodge a complaint but they were kind enough to take feedback with reference no [protected]. I have additionally put in a complaint on your website pr[protected].
One week later here i am.

Airtel staff called yesterday urging me to convert my connection to postpaid. I sternly refused as postpaid does not fit in my budget. The executive asked for more time to come up with a solution.
