Airtel — A/c: [protected] - Landline cancelled after retention called

Address:CHENNAI TAMIL NADU

Sir I was using a Airtel landline for many years with broad band. Three years back I shifted 4 blocks from my place. They promised a speed of same 40mbps. where that was not the case. I was given only 24mbps. Still I was with them as a loyal customer. Each time I call they say 100mbps will happen in few months.. 3 years passed. each moth they say, we are working on sub stations, this and that, I waited and took a High speed fiber line with another network but still paying for AIRTEL thinking some day I will get the speed.

Airtel gave me some discounts on rental and I did not use the Internet services as it was getting disconnecting very often and no use in Complaint's . No proper service to rectify the same . A person named Suresh called himself as tech guy used to call, he will not rectify the issue but he will be more keen in getting the Happy code sent by Airtel, just to close the case. I even told him my issue. he said he will take care of the same as the area comes under his control and the line will fine. NOTHING HAPPENED TILL DATE. He is one of the worst engineers Airtel can send . I did not worry much on that either.

Last March my rental was increased without any intimation sms or emails. I called the customer care and they gave me a discount and asked me to send an email to avail the discount again . In mean time we had this COVID 19 situations, so I did not send email. I tried calling the customer service where it said " use Airtel Thanks APP" where there was not option to talk any one or options to say what we have to say. I sent mails to 121 customer care and I get only reply "DUE TO COVID WE ARE UNABLE TO REACH AND PLEASE USE THANKS APP"
One find day I got on to my nerve's and sent an email to deactivate the line just to show my anger . I got a reply that it has been accepted and I got a call from the retention team. where she asked me what is the concern. I said increase in rental and bad internet connection and less speed for the tag I pay. She said I have an outstanding or Rs. 555.86/- for bill dated 12/06/2020.I said I sent email but no one responded and how can I be liable to pay penalty. She said she will pass a waiver and she also added that she will discount my 15 days bill value in June so that I pay less rental. She also asked me to wait for a month, so that offers will be back. But while talking the line got disconnected. After that I tried calling her but no response.
I sent email explaining the same to customer care, appellate.[protected]@in.airtel.com; nodal.[protected]@in.airtel.com on 24th June. But I was shocked to get an email saying "Basis your email, I would like to inform that your Airtel services have been stopped effective 11/06/2020" and the line was deactivated. I sent emails again to all and I never get a reply. But I got a call from collection asking me to pay Rs.555.86/-
My concern is " I agreed to retain the line based on the retention call. Why did they deactivate and cancel the line. I have all the recorded conversation with them with time and date. I have mentioned the same in my email, still no proper response. one on earth can reach AIRTEL for any issues now. I don't know here to raise my request and landed up here for some remedy.

HOPE SOME ONE TAKE SOME ACTION ON THIS ISSUE AND GET BACK MY LINE

Hi Kavya / Akhmal
Well it's been 8 days since I furnished the details as requested by M.Kavya.I seriously don't know why it is taking so long to finish this issue once and for all. I had give as much time as I can as a customer, but I don't get solution for the issues.

Mr.Akhmal said on 15th that the issue will be resolved in 24 to 48 hours. Well I wrote back to him on 17th reminding the same and got a reply to wait more.. Waiting for something is really a painful process where both o[censored]s know The Fault was not from customer side.

I believe it will hardly take few hours for your team to resolve this issue. Kindly tell me what takes so long to resolve this.

Please advice ASAP.I STILL BELIEVE, AIRTEL HAS AND FOLLOWS A TURN AROUND TIME FOR ALL ITS PROCESS.AND COMPLAINTS.AS YOU KNOW ITS BEEN QUITE A LONG TIME I AM WRITING TO YOU, TO JUSTIFY MYSELF.AND TO ASKING YOU TO DO JUSTICE TO YOUR WORK.

LOOKING FORWARD FOR SOME SWIFT ACTION.

REGARDS
THYAGARAJAN
