Airtel — address verification failure | |||
I have a bought a new airtel postpaid connection on 6th april 2018 in chennai. At that time i submitted a copy of aadhar card (Which has the address of my native) together with verification done with fingerprinting. They asked me to provide the chennai address where i am staying, i was informed they will come for address verification. On next day i got call regarding address verification. They asked where i am staying i infromed that address. Then they asked when i will be available as i was out of city that day i asked them to come on monday after my office hours if they want to see me in person. But they issued the status as address cannot be traced and my number was blocked. Then i reached the help of customer care for which they told to contact me the nearest airtel showroom. When i visited the showroom they told that i need to purchase new number as i cant get the same number back. Unfortunately i linked all my bank accounts and uan pan, everything to this new number. I cant change the number. I cant receive the bank otp's, currently i was told that the address re verification was initiated and it ll get activated within 24 hrs. Was this information helpful? | |||

I had requested for UPC from Airtel still they have not sent me the UPC and the they have deducted the money for the message and still they have not sent the UPC.In the University of Mysore campus we wont get proper signal hence i am opting for port.
