Monday august 14th :
I went online on the web and changed my billing plan.
The moment i did that my incoming and outgoing calls stopped - however the sms's kept working
Tuesday15th :
I called airtel call center - registered my complaint. Was assured that the "backend team" would rectify the issue in 4 hours. Nothing happened
I called airtel call center - was informed that the matter was escalated and would be sorted the next day
Wednesday 16th
I called the airtel call center - was instructed to change my sim. Went down to change the sim - was informed by the airtel showroom team that my phone was showing pending for activation and therefore they could not activate a new sim
Spoke to airtel call center was escalated to the supervisor. They added their escalation note to the call and assured me it would be done
Thursday 17th
Call the airtel call center - spoke to supervisor - said they are escalating - and would be resilved - nothing happened
Was informed to go down to airtel office and get a new sim. Went down - and guess what - same problem. Unable to activate the new sim becauase at the backend it shows pending for activiation Was this information helpful? |
