[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel 4G Dongle ZTE / Very Poor Customer Care Services / False promises | |||||
I recently bought Aritle 4G Dongle ZTE ([protected]) on dated 18th Aug, 2016 at Hari Nagar Airtel Store near to D.D. Hospital, New Delhi assuring the activation on the same day by evening 8.pm They assured excellent service in Hari Nagar area and I paid 4 months rentals in advance to pick the free Airtel 4G Dongle ZTE. I was awaiting from 18th Aug till date for the activation :( Airtel Store owner says, I'll personally work to get this activated but nothing resulted. I personally visited thrice the store with no luck. Raised a complaint with Airtel Customer care, just to hear again and again the same old mugged up story, we are sorry, please re-insert the sim and restart the Airtel 4G Dongle ZTH. I done 15-20 times restart for last 5 days. I did a BIG MISTAKE choosing Airtel Network and paying them well in advance 4 months rentals believing their promises. Now I regret for the poor decision. Even today Airtel Customer executive calls me stating, I raised a compliant and one of my services engineer will call you and will personally visit your home...as usual another fake promise and i did not receive any call from the service engineer. Interesting part to note was the poor training provided to these customer care executives " she says, i hope you are happy with the resolution" !!! I'm following-up with these people for last 5 days to fix the issue and I'm not sure what kind of resolution she talks about and to happy for??? Why Airtel services are so think skinned and don't respond even after 5 days continuous request!!! Was this information helpful? | |||||
Aug 24, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved After continuous follow-up and raising the complaint on the Airtel website. Today i.e., after 6 days Airtel engineer Mr. Praveen visited our office at Moti Nagar stating sorry for the delay the Aritel engineer allocated Hari Nagar area was on leave and checked my dongle.
Said the Sim was not properly inserted and took a panel and reinsert the sim card again into the dongle. Now it started working.
He said, Aritel Store people should give a briefing session on the new devises and I'll share the feedback to them.
Finally it resolved Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
