Airtel — Airtel - 4G Hotspot Data Usage discrepancies | |||||
Hello! I own a Airtel 4G Hotspot on a family add-ons pack (3 regular + 1 data sim). My billing cycle starts from 2nd of every month to 1st of Next month. After 20th, I'm not able to use the internet even for googling and the usage shows I have free data bytes left since unused data rolls over. And even when the cycle kicks in, the speed ranges from 80-120 kbps, I'm talking ads buffering on Youtube. The Device battery is a joke and keeps disconnecting frequently and the signal strength is weak ( I'm on 3rd floor). I'm tired of speaking to your customer care wherein the only solution I was offered in the middle of a pandemic was to go to Airtel Store. I contacted thru Twitter but got a response from a bot and no communications further. The same issue with my mobile data as well, Balance shows 12G remaining (98 pack) but the once the daily pack (2G -449 pack) exhausts, reserve doesn't kick in. I don't know if this is just Airtel's classic scam or just a terrible mistake at the backend. Was this information helpful? | |||||

This isn't possible because only 2 people in my home use this dongle, one for work and other a light surfer.
