Airtel — Airtel Broadband OMR - No response after getting the installation charge | |||||
Airtel already had tie with our builder and have all the setups (switch/router) installed in our premises..the installation would just involve getting the wires installed and activate the connection. On 31st Dec approached the so called Airtel Service guys for getting BroadBand installed in my flat. That guy called me back atleast 10 - 15 times the same day ensuring i send the needed docs immediately, also promised i would get the connection on Jan 2 or 3 the worst case. He also came to collect the installation fee 500 within hours after my first call. Eventually i stopped getting calls/updates from this guy. The Installation guys came the same day noon to check the connectivity, they opened up couple of switch boards in my home and left (vanished) that day. Since then, am trying to reach out to those Installation guys.. they never pick the phone. Then started chasing the guy who got the installation fee collected...he does nothing but only false promise...on Jan 4, got him on phone and wanted to know the status of my application.. he told that he will check and call me back in 2 mins, guess what.. his 2 mins is still ticking... i never got a call back. Today when i called to the same number, some other guy is responding.. after some hot inquiries.. he told there was some system update problem (i really didn't get it) and gave a tracking number (tnpc653313). Another promise now that by tomorrow i would get the connection and activated. So sick of this, main issue is all these false promises and negligence towards the customers cause lot of headache..Not sure what else these guys have in their pandora box. Please let me know why would you need an alternate number if all your associates have my primary number.
I haven't received any Account # since its a new connection, and received no updates on when the installation would happen.
