This complaint is regarding the legal notice warning airtel sent me via phone, which according to them is necessary if i didn;t clear my dues.
However, since feb 22, 2017 i have repeatedly asked them to disconnect my connection. I got all the transaction ids and task no. Which airtel provides while talking to their customer care representative. Also, all my dues were clear till feb 22, 2017.
Airtel kept on adding/sending me the bill in spite of my repeatedly requesting them to disconnect my connection and communicating the same to the airtel engineer who visited my place (Engineer visit was due to the upgrading of the modem connection to huawei, which i declined). Also, i haven't used their internet or attached airtel landline from the above-mentioned date.
The due amount as stated by airtel is around 4000, which they are forcing me to pay, threatening me with the legal action. This is quite absurd considering i have been the airtel customer for past 10 years and they are not looking into a genuine, polite request for my disconnection and on top of it kept of adding the monthly dues.
Requesting airtel authorities not to harass its customers and appropriately solving the problem.
