I installed airtel broadband with the basic plan 499 on Aug 10, 2021 bearing the landline number[protected]_tn. The technician allotted for me (Arun Raj) asked me to pay Rs. 2828 which he said will be valid for 5 months (up to Jan) from the date of installation for the above plan. To my surprise, the technician had put me in the higher plan (799) without my knowledge resulting in the exhaustion of the amount I paid by Nov. Though I got downgraded to the 499 plan sooner per my request, I did not get my refund or my bill adjusted. It was airtel's argument that I had not updated the committed plan (499) in the thanks app which I was never informed by the technician. When I spoke to the technician, he started speaking foul language not even caring that he is talking to a woman. I am shocked that an ISP like airtel has such cheap behaving technicians. I was promised by one of airtel customer service personnel that I will be given a waiver of Rs. 177 valid for 10 months starting from December 2021 but this never happened on their database. Everytime I address this issue, airtel customer service will give a waiver of Rs 150 like throwing alms to me. It was purely a mistake of airtel and not the customer for the mental trauma I am going through. Kindly do the needful to address and resolve the issue Was this information helpful? |
