[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel Digital TV making false promises; dead connection since 2 days and no action. | |||||
Airtel Digital TV customer id [protected] Ladies and Gentlemen at Airtel, This new connection was installed on April 3, morning around 9 am. Despite a 30 minute activation, till late evening it was not activated. Upon followup with the installation engineer it was activated after about 12 hours. On the morning of April 5, when we turned on the TV, the signal was gone (error B0001) in perfect sunny conditions. When I called the installer he indicated that he cant do much; it must be a problem with the wiring provided by the developer. The developer's rep refuted this argument. So on the morning of April 5 I called your call centre, where I was promised that by 4 pm of April 4, my problem would be resolved. No one called me on April 5 about this; no one visited. So this morning before 8 am I called the call centre again and they said they have escalated the complaint and that they will take up the case in priority. I also called Sagar Hulawale from Iconic Services who had sold the connection. Sagar said that an engineer would anyway be visiting our complex around 10.30/11 am and he would request him to fix my problem. When no one came by 11.20 am today I called Sagar again, and he said that someone will come sometime today...sometime? He could not confirm a time. Now its 7.00 pm on Day 2 and no engineer from Airtel has called me, nor has Sagar bothered to inform me what happened to his part of the promise. So what do we do? Keep on waiting for eternity or what? Who will fix this? When will Airtel reps stop making false promises?
