Airtel — Airtel DTH - Issue with Refund due to unsatisfactory services

Dear TRAI Team,

Thank you providing the forum to address the issues faced.

I paid 2118 Rs for Airtel DTH connection in Kondapur, Hyderabad on Feb 9th 2022.
Raised multiple complaints to resolve the issue but airtel Team couldn’t resolve issue in time. And asked me to wait for 1 month more to try and test with a new setup box. As i was not interested to wait for a month for resolving the issue. I have choosen to go for suspension by Feb 14th 2022.
Due to non satisfactory services, raised a request for suspension of Airtel DTH services.. and was asked to call back after a month to process the refund.
When i called on March 14th 2022. They are asking me to call them after a year i.e. 9th Frb 2023. Astonished to hear this from Airtel.
We request you to kindly address the issue in processing the refund from Airtel DTH Team.

So far no resolution received from Airtel DTH team. I tried to call the customer care asking for the refund but still they are saying the same thing that back End Team will call me and give resolution. But back team after calling saying the same thing that i will not get any refund and do not qualify for refund. I do not understand what qualifications do i need to get my money back for unsatisfactory services provided by airtel. I tried to get in touch with airtel dth technician as well to recheck if he can fix the issue. To my surprise he is repeating the same thing that i will not get good picture quality and that’s how airtel dth quality is and asked to get in touch with customer care. This is going on in a never ending loop. Neither they refund the money nor resolve the issue. They are literally harassing me and my family. Am spending my valuable time in coordinating with customer care team almost daily.
Kindly help me in resolving the issue as soon as possible please.
I believe there is loop hole in airtel dth that faulty setup box will be given to customers so that the setup cannot be taken back and Airtel policy is in such a way that they can do nothing. Airtel dth Team needs to closely look in to the issue and try to cover the loophole as soon as possible.
