[Resolved] Airtel — airtel fraud services on international roaming | |
Last week i had traveled to malaysia and had preferred to take airtel international roaming pack of rs 1199 on my mobile number over matrix international sim card but what a bad decision it was and my whole trip was spoiled because of airtel. I had activated rs 1199 ir pack on 20th july where i was supposed to get 3 gb data on international roaming but data never ever worked in malaysia. Airtel customer care number also did not work in malaysia. I enabled data roaming and tried all settings but it never worked. I even paid 20 ringgits to a local mobile shop to check all the settings and try on different handsets but that also did not work and it was confirmed that it was not enabled by airtel. I spent so much time on first day on all this but all in vain. I had not booked any travel package for whole week as i had planned to user uber taxi which is much cheaper in malaysia but because of lack of mobile data i was not able to use and i ended up paying 3 times more to local taxis most of the time and i ended up wasting extra time in getting the taxis. I even could not visit all the places which i had planned because of lack of data roaming. For all the people with whom i has interacting on whatsapp / skype call for personal and business, i ended up paying very huge price as i had to make all regular calls from other number because of lack of data roaming. I also could not complete my other business work because of lack of internet and ended up in so much trouble during my trip. I paid you rs 1199 to enable data roaming and then on top of that you deducted rs 99 as rental (That is also not correct) but i could never use it any time in my trip and all my plans were spoiled because of you. If we are paying for a service it is supposed to work as we build our plans on top of that but it never worked. So, please refund rs 1199 and rs 99 which i paid and also refund rs 25000 for all problem i had to face because of you and extra expenses that i incurred because of this.
