[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel New Broadband Connection Cancelled, no refund till Date | |||||
Hi, I am Sathish Guru from Madurai. I am one of the fool who believed your Pan India Coverage Jokes. Jokes on me. I thought of giving the new Broadband connection to my new home and so I requested a callback from Airtel. They called me back and a sales executive visited me and collected all the Documents and fee of Rs.1100, on 17th June 2016. When I asked for the receipt, he said I will receive a confirmation call and SMS. He also checked some feasibility and provisions.I received a call on the confirmation of the documents and verification, but not the SMS. I received a few calls from airtel persons regarding some checks on the connection and some box availability. After 3 weeks of dumbness, I wanted to check the connection status. I called the executive who collected the documents for the same and to my shockness, he said the request was rejected because the reeling a new line for a just mere one connection is not so profitable. He asked me to initiate the refund request. Twist of the story happened when one of the customer service executive called me from Chennai and asked "Is your new connection provided or not?". I was dumbstruck. Then I updated all this story. He said he initiate the refund asd I opted for the Cash. This time also I haven't received any SMS. After I week I contacted the BB Toll free number and repeated the same story. They asked me to initiate the refund online. This time only I got the request number and I submitted the request. Till now I didn't receive and communication so far. Till this point I haven't received email communication from Airtel. Don't make me a beggar to ask for MY MONEY.Do the needful at the earliest. I am already cancelled my decision to move my family's mobile number to airtel. I have tried to contact the same airtel_presence multiple time through twitter. I have posted the same there, but seems to be under scrutiny.
By the way, Airtel appellate Authority replied my query and they are taking up the action, after a Wild Chase. Will close once done.
But, still Airtel seems to be flying to high to answer Consumer complaints. This is not good for Airtel.
