Airtel — Airtel No. [protected] not cancelled even after confirmation from customer care rep. | |||
Hi, I am writing this mail to express my deepest disappointment with the Airtel Customer Care services. Earlier this month, I had spoken to a customer care representative to close an additional Airtel number that I possess [protected], Relationship no. [protected]. The customer care executive cancelled my number with immediate effect (at least, he told me he did) and the Interaction Id regarding cancellation of number is: [protected]. Even after this discussion I am getting a bill this month a monthly charge of 108 INR. Please note that my bill was all paid and in negative figures when I cancelled the bill. The customer care representative told me I had nothing to pay. Unfortunately, this is what I was dreading and has happened. There are many cases all over the internet of Airtel not cancelling numbers and sending bills to customers to earn revenue. Please note that, I will not pay any additional money to Airtel for this number since I have done my part and close the number. If you guys can't fulfill your tasks and resort to malpractices for earning more revenue I know where to complain. Consider this a humble request again to close the account or correct your systems.
