Airtel — airtel payment bank deducted money from the account without any reason | |||
I had registered on airtel payment bank and credited my account for rs 1950 on 22/11/2017 in order to make my monthly bill payments. My total amount was approx rs 1984. After adding the money, it started showing up on my airtel payment account but didn't allow me to make bill payment using the same. So i decided to make the bill payment next day i. E. 23/11/2017 and to my surprise when i logged into my account, the amount it showed me in my account is rs 831. I was suprised where the rest of amount is gone, so i called up 121 for the same. I was told that my remaining amount has been put on hold and will be released after 48 hours. I was so frustrated that without any notification how could bank put my money on hold without any reason. Then i am told this is a technical issue. I asked on how i am supposed to pay my bills which are having due date of 24/11 so reply i got was "sir how do i know"? Come on, this wasn't kind of reply i was expecting from airtel customer care. I told him to connect me to his supervisor but after some time he tells me that supervisor is not on the floor. I guess airtel is running some kind of joke by opening this bank. I am raising a complaint against airtel payment bank for showing false information about my money on their portal and holding my money without any reason.
