[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel Rs. 2,999 international roaming pack did not work. | |||||
I am presently at Brno, Czech Republic for work. My mobile had been recharged with the Airtel international roaming pack of Rs. 2, 999. This pack is supposed to remain valid for 10 days, with unlimited incoming calls, 3GB free data, 250 minutes of outgoing calls to India and local, and 100 SMSs. The count of ten days started when I called home for a few minutes from Munich, on 2nd May, morning. However, after I reached Brno I could never call home as an automatic voice informed me that I was not entitled to do so. I could only receive calls from home. My father lives in Kolkata. He brought this into Airtel's notice. They said it would be resolved by 9th or 10th (by this time my 10 day validity would be nearly over). On 9th Airtel called me from a number and verified whether we had made a complaint or not. However, soon after the call disconnected, and I found that they had deducted Rs. 100 for the 1 minute long incoming call from airtel itself. After that it showed that I had only Rs. 11 balance left. This is a clear scam of Rs. 3000, and Airtel should be ashamed of the harassment it has caused me and my family. I hereby demand that Airtel return my Rs. 2999 immediately.
