Airtel — Save card feature should not be mandatory I went to pay my bill in Airtel site on 21st OCT 2016. When I was about to do my payment using my Credit Card, it was mentioned that my card details will be saved by default. This is WRONG. Why should my card details be saved without my permission? It means that I can only pay using my Card only if I allow Airtel to save my Card details. This is ridiculous. Earlier, there used to be an option asking whether I want to save my card details. It has been removed and card information is being saved as default. It says it does have a feature to delete the saved card information, but my complaint is that the card information itself should not be saved by default. One could never know for sure if there is any backup or archive table in your database that still stores my information, even after I delete the card data. Mandatory saving of card data should be removed immediately. Airtel should make this change, and remove the default card saving feature immediately. Was this information helpful? | |||||
