[Resolved] Airtel — Airtel Secure claim rejected with excuse of some other insurance company | |||
I never thought that Airtel could have this much of bad service ever. I bought an Airtel secure plan and it was just activated in 1-2 clicks, I was happy to see that service. Then the insurance amount was started reflecting in my bill every month. One day I was taking out my keys from the pocket, my handset slipped and got damaged. I applied to claim the insurance, the Airtel executive called me and informed me that my handset will get repaired and told me to upload images, sign document and hand over the handset. I did the same, after few days the executive called me and informed that my claim got rejected by the insurance company. I was not aware that they have a tie-up with some other company as they never informed about that, now don't know which insurance company came into the picture. I was paying money to Airtel secure than how some other company can reject the claim. Even after rejection, I have not received my handset. Now Airtel is also not replying to the emails. I am going to proceed with a legal option if Airtel not helps me out in this. I am having 4 different connections of Airtel because I trusted Airtel, but if this is the service they are giving, I need to port to some other operator. Hoping to hear from you soon.
