I ported to Airtel network last month and the first recharge pack got expired last week. Next day the sim is showing no network and I am unable to make or receive any calls/SMS.
After calling through an another sim, both the customer care executive and the senior customer care executive asked to visit the Airtel store and and replace with a duplicate sim card by paying Rs. 50 and ended the call without giving valid reasons for sim going bad. Even the company is denying to replace the sim through their doorstep sim delivery for new connections.
This issue with the sim card arises due to low quality in sim card manufacturing and testing by airtel. It looks like this same issue will occur again for the new duplicate sim and I have to through these processes again.
Why the customer needs to pay for a duplicate sim when it is damaged within 1 month of purchase due to low manufacture quality? I need my sim to be replaced without any cost and at the doorstep. Was this information helpful? |
