[Resolved] Airtel — airtel sim card error | |
My airtel number is non-operational for the past two days. The status of my sim card is showing error in the phone. I have tried in another mobile but the status is the same. I have tried to reach out to customer care, but could'nt connect. So i send an e-mail to the airtel customer care. Their reply was since the mail id is not linked with mobile number they are not in a position to accept the request. They have provided an url to link the mail id to mobile number. Then after only they can accept it as compliant through mail. Actually for linking the mail id with mobile number, the number should be in active status to recieve otp. I have replied again saying that since the number is non operational (That is the complaint about) i couldn't link the mail id to mobile number. And i also requested a call back from them in my another mobile number for registration of compliant. But no response from them. This mobile number is linked with my bank accounts and credit cards too In this lockdown situation i couldn't do online transactions due to this sim card error. I request your good office to take up the issue with competant authority so that the complaint be addressed asap. Was this information helpful? | |
Dec 13, 2020 Complaint marked as Resolved Company hasn't taken any steps. I, myself has to go their Customer care offices 3-4 times and resolved the issue Airtel customer support has been notified about the posted complaint. | |
