Airtel — airtel xtreme fibre broadband | |||
This is to inform you that i had applied for a airtel xtreme fibre broadband connection (799/ month plan). I had paid the advance for 3 months package (Inr which included free installation of the broadband modem and landline connection. It has been 7 days already, and still the connection has not been installed, I have spoken to the executives who had collected my documents and were responsible for the connection, they informed me that it will take only two to three days for setting up the connection. But after several days now, they are just making excuses that some box needs to be set up in the apartment (Which i already had procured permission from the society and have informed the executives), but still everyday they are just telling me false stories that the connection will be set up today/tomorrow. So i have requested them to cancel my broadband request and refund me the amount as they are unable to set it up. They are even telling that the cancellation will take time and even if they do cancel, i will get an intimation after 7 days. What i do not get is that, while payment it happens instantly, why doesn't it happen so at the time of cancellation. Also i have received a sms from the airtel network that the service is not currently feasible in my area. I am affixing all the relevant screenshots to this mail (Payment info, connection request info and the sms received from airtel) to this mail. Also if the connection is not possible in an area it should be mentioned before the payment is made. This unethical practice of target fulfillment doesnot help airtel at all. This similar incident has happened to other people in my office too. Please help me cancel the connection request and refund me the amount that i have already paid for the new connection, at the earliest. Was this information helpful? | |||
