Airtel — Anonymous Call asking to Recharge Airtel DTH | |
I have not recharged my Airtel DTH for past 2 months since i am out of station. I received a genuine call from Customer care the 1st month and updated them that i am outside town and can recharge it after 3-4 months. Today i received a call from [protected]asking to recharge for 163 Rs in order to keep the DTH active else there will be a penalty amount of 500 deducted whenever i recharge. i said i will recharge through app and will take care of this. The lady who spoke seems to be not a professional customer care person and i could sense it is a Spam or fishing call. She didn't allow me to end the call and was asking to recharge now and wait on call to activate some service. Please let me know if this is a usual process from Airtel or something wrong.
